I've managed to solve it.The problem seemed to be the binding as usual it stays on normal but when i use the xml schema the "normal" binding seems to cause problemsso i changed all fields that aren't exported by the xml schema to binding "none".Thanks for bringing the idea with you'r second question...

1) no consistency one is a pure text field and others are date fields, except for the fields not beeing bound to the xml schema there is nothing different about them.There is one odd thing, one field that is bound to the xml schema and also checked during save has never had any null value aka never ...

I'm having a problemi have a form with alot of fields and some fields are bound to a xsd file for information exportand we have a button with a save function that saves the document to alot of diferent folders and some checking it does before it will allow the user to save.After a save the form open...

afraid this did not help, as i've tried the layout load and initialize but still no resultsi tried doing a simple check on the checkboxes and if rawValue was 1 the subform should be visible but it still won't work.

I have a problem where my subforms becomes hidden after i save the format first the subform is hidden  but with a checkbox i choose to show it.When the user saves it and closes the form, and when i open it again the subform is hidden again.shouldn't the subform stay visible?

I've added my XSD file and myself can't see anything wrong with it.Still when i add 3 items number 2 and 3 are bound together and change when the other changes.The bindings should be ok, tell me if you need anything else for elping me with the troubleshooting.
