Re: ReferenceError: Error #1056: Cannot create property code on mx.messaging.messages.ErrorMessage. - Adobe LiveCycle 18-06-2009
Hey Francis, at some point I think I did have a server-side property called "code" but I changed that soon after I created it.I'm sure I have nothing with that name now. I've either deleted or changed the name of it.I think you're right - there's persisting here. Do you use WebOrb too?

Re: ReferenceError: Error #1056: Cannot create property code on mx.messaging.messages.ErrorMessage. - Adobe LiveCycle 17-06-2009
Hey Greg, thanks for the response.I'm still not sure where the property "code" is. I've searched through my entire project and the server-side methods too. I guess it could be something that WebOrb returns as an error message.Anyway, I found the root cause of the problem. I was calling the same server-side method twice, sometimes I guess due to slightly different timings within the app, it would work, and sometimes not. After Googling and finding a couple of mentions of changing properties from p...

ReferenceError: Error #1056: Cannot create property code on mx.messaging.messages.ErrorMessage. - Adobe LiveCycle 15-06-2009
Hi allCan anyone tell me why I'm getting this error message around 50% of the time when connecting to a C# class exposed through WebOrb? It appears to be completely random. Sometimes it'll connect, sometimes not.ReferenceError: Error #1056: Cannot create property code on mx.messaging.messages.ErrorMessage.Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me nuts! If you need any more info in particular let me know and I'll post it.ThanksDustin

Re: Web application not connecting to .NET data after uploaded to IIS - Adobe LiveCycle 21-05-2009
I figured this out out in the end. I needed to put a crossdomain.xml policy file into the root of my WebOrb site allowing access to the site that hosted my app.

Re: Web application not connecting to .NET data after uploaded to IIS - Adobe LiveCycle 21-05-2009
OK, I have some more information. Cutting the IIS server out of the equation...If I launch the app from bin-debug, it works. If l launch the app from bin-release, data functionality does not work.If I copy the bin-debug folder to a new location on my PC, data functionality does not work. This suggests to me that (a) the files in bin-debug are using hard-coded paths and (b) the release is not being built properly.Any more ideas on why I'm losing data connectivity when creating the release build?

Re: Web application not connecting to .NET data after uploaded to IIS - Adobe LiveCycle 21-05-2009
Thanks for the reply Greg but unfortunately it hasn't fixed it. I did notice that the -use-network=true option resulted in my assets and css being separated out into seprate files.

Web application not connecting to .NET data after uploaded to IIS - Adobe LiveCycle 21-05-2009
HiI've written a web app with Flex 3.3 which connects to .NET data via WebOrb. The app works fine from my desktop but after copying the release files into a new IIS site and running it from there, the app loads but its not connecting to the data. I'm by no means an expert on Flex and IIS so there might be something really simple that I need to do here. All help welcome, thanksDustin

Authentication via WebORB to credentials stored in SQL - Adobe LiveCycle 09-04-2009
I have an app which requires access to data stored in SQL 2008. I'm currently using WebORB as an intermediary and can successfully access the data I need using the standard ACL method in weborbconfig. I am however struggling to find how to set up WebORB to authenticate to credentials stored in my database. I understand I need to implement custom authentication and authorization handlers but can anyone give clear instructions on exactly how to go about this. I know this is more of a WebORB questi...
