It seemed like I had a apache rewrite rule for forwarding POST request with 301. Modified the same. Its working now. I would have been best to have the release notes of old dispatcher as well.

In edit mode ... styles tab does show up. However, when we go to target mode .... styles tab is not available. You can check this with Core list component

Hi Team, We are using Dispatcher version 4.1.0 with apache 2.2. We are able to invalidate pages using GET method. on /dispatcher/invalidate.cache. However, we would like to use refetch funcationality (POST /dispatcher/invalidate.cache). This results in 301. Can someone tell me the dispatcher version since this functionality is available (preferable with apache 2.2). It is impossible to find release notes for old dispatcher releases. Please help.

HI All, I am trying to setup activity with two experiences. Experiences differ in component styles only. For example, showing a list component in grid mode or simple list mode. This need to be achieved from style system and pre-defined styles on list component. Problem is when I go into targeting mode style icon is not available on the component. How to achieve this ?

Hi All, Is there a preprocessing Hook we can attach to design/dialog property of a component ? Is there a way we can override currentStyle, currentDesign objects and hook up some processing logic. So that dialogue text can be transformed before handing over to the components.

ok but the behaviour is quite strange ... adobe docs suggest that config folder is applicable to all run modes. So one would expect that if a configuration which is not present in config.author.dev and is present in config folder shall be picked up.

Hi All, We have following structure /apps/*/config - (sling:folder)/apps/*/config.author - (nt:folder) /apps/*/config.author.dev - (nt:folder) We are running aem with author runmodes [dev, author]. Now when we deploy these folders only configs from config.author.dev activate the osgi component. Even if we manually change configs in /apps/*/config folder it does not activate my component with new config. However, if we change configs under config.author.dev it does reactivate my component with th...

thanks Arun, Jorg for patiently listening to my query ..... actually the issue was with my understanding .... I was thinking that when the component comes up initially..... it will have the properties ... However, it is only after the UI package containing the config nodes get deployed it activates the component again with fresh set of configs. ... thanks for all the help ...

just one question when you start the bundle without configuring the component through webconsole, do you get your xml configured properties in this method public void activate(PageJSONServletConfig config) { excludeProperties=config.exclude_properties(); refrenceProperties = config.refrence_properties(); renameProperties = config.rename_properties(); limit= config.limit(); }

Hi Jorg.... Our sling:OsgiConfig are under /apps/*/config folder.... they are loaded as sling:OsgiConfig nodes. These nodes are not able to provide initial configuration to the component. (No activate methods called with configuration.policy=required). However, we can open these nodes with webconsole configuration. The same values populates on the console and when we save the configs, they get saved under /apps/*/config folder as jcr:content under the respective sling:osgiconfig nodes. Once this...

We have environment specific sling:osgiconfig values and we want component OCD to populate from them. But on component activation we always get blank OCD.

Could you please provide any method to debug this? We have sling:osgiconfig under the /apps/*/config folder but component never recognize these properties. Please note that when we explicitly open the config, it populates with the sling:osgiconfig correctly and when we save it gets bound. Problem only happens when the bundle starts up, at that point component never finds the config and goes into "no config" state. Please advise and help
