I'm getting increasingly frustrated that when I go to edit an existing
segment, calculated metric, Workspace, or other element it will often
times change the Report Suite to one I was operating in recently. It
does not alert you it's happening. It does not take into account the
Report Suite in which the element was originally created or saved. This
is infuriating because I work with clients with multiple report suites
and several times a day, inadvertently one of my elements will get saved
I'm importing for two classification variables - one is a subset of the
other (Marketing Group, Marketing Channel; channel rolls up into group
in theory). When I load the file, it looks fine. When it processes, all
the data I've entered seems to be overwritten by one of the values. The
primary group looks fine, but the secondary group is always one of the
options I loaded and the rest seem to vanish. For example, I'll load:SEM
GoogleSEM BingSEM YahooSEM BaiduBut when I pull the file down the next...
We have several freeform tables where the first column has a longer text
field (URL string, QSP) that we want fully displayed. The new resizing
feature works great for shrinking all other columns to allow us to view
the entire field in the first column. However, when downloading as a PDF
these resized columns return to their original size (equal column
widths). Is there a way to permanently lock the column widths for PDF
versions? Or is this a glitch?
A good thought and would get us closer, but since the blog lives within
a larger site environment, there is a way to view one blog page and one
non-blog page (and it happens a non-negligible amount) so those folks
would still be included, correct?
Thanks Arun. I actually need to ensure it's not two views of the same
page. Is there some kind of distinct/unique function that would allow us
to know that within one visit, there's two views of unique pages within
their blog within one visit?
I'm trying to design a segment that tracks the number of visits to a
section of a webpage that views two distinct pages within that section.
I've tried using the Appox Count Distinct and Greater Than/GTOET and
Less Than/LTOET functions and all either result in a 0, 1, or capture
all visits to that section of the page. Any ideas on segments/calculated
metrics that can be used together to achieve this?
I am wrapping up engagement with a client. I created several of their
Workspaces and, as such, I am listed as the Owner. The primary users at
the client are Administrators.- If they decide to delete my login, will
it cause any issues with these Workspaces? Do they need to "Save As" a
different file to prevent any issues? - Is there a way to transfer
ownership to one of them? Or is this not necessary? Any info on this
would be a big help, as I know number of users can become a concern.
Thanks Ben. Yes, the ability to print on paper. Currently the PDF is one
page, regardless of size. I have been resorting to cropping approximate
pages in Acrobat and rejoining as a Binder. Should be easier to
distribute to non-Adobe Analytics users, who may choose to print. And
glad to hear I'm not the only one with the idea to share Workspaces
outside a login. I think that would make people be able to take
advantage of the full breadth of Workspace features (and may even serve
as a nice method o...
Currently the printer-friendly options for Workspace are horrendous -
the PDF always displays as a single page, regardless of project length.
And I get this is partially because the full breadth of features are in
visiting the page, but not all of our clients have the user capacity to
create a new login for every person to whom they want to distribute this
information.Idea is two-fold:- Create a "Page Break" option/feature so
reports can be more easily designed for printing of the reportAND-
Good Morning, I have a rollup suite of four reporting suites built but
for some reason no data has populated after 3 days. What are the
possible reasons why this is the case? Are there additional settings
needed besides creating the rollup and drag/dropping the child suites
into it? Is there some kind of conflict that would cause no data to
