Re: Nav bar in HTML article does not show title JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
This is a custom app built with AEM Mobile. How can I tell what version I'm using? How can I tell if I'm using HTL, and what does that mean? In the app customization section, I have the navigation bar and status bar for phone and tablet set to default (always visible on browse pages, and visible on tap for articles). Again, when I'm in my app, on the article pages, after I tap the screen, the navigation bar comes up but there is no title in the bar. It is blank. On collection/browse pages, the t...

Nav bar in HTML article does not show title JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
In my app, I have a number of pages that are built with HTML. When I tap on the page, the nav bar appears, but there is no title. It's just the back arrow with the hamburger menu. On collection pages the title of the collection appears in the nav bar. How can I get the title of the article to appear in the nav bar on article pages?

Re: Dynamic Banner on Desktop Web Viewer JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
That does make sense, thank you. So this let's me know that if I'm building a page through the Layout Template editor, the max width of the desktop web viewer is 960px. Seems very narrow to me, especially since almost all desktop computers have screen widths of at least 1366px.

Re: Dynamic Banner on Desktop Web Viewer JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Thank you for your response. So this max width of 960px only applies to pages created within the AEM Mobile portal? The HTML article displays fine in the Desktop Web Viewer.

Dynamic Banner on Desktop Web Viewer JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I have a dynamic banner on a collection page, and it works fine on the iPad and iPhone. However, when I go to preview on the Desktop Web Viewer, it treated it as iPad size, instead of the larger size for desktop. I tested this with the same file created as an article and it works fine in the Desktop Web Viewer. Why is this happening with the dynamic banner, and how can I get it to work properly in the Desktop Web Viewer?

Re: View content only in top-level collection? JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
When I tap on the hamburger icon, I only see the options in the Top Level, and by Top Level I mean the top row in the content map. So that means I do not even see Collection B in the hamburger menu dropdown, since it is not part of the Top Level. With the collection in the Top Level, the first item is an article, but when I select that collection from the hamburger dropdown, it displays as a browse page, even though I set the view settings to Content View.

Re: View content only in top-level collection? JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi, thank you for your response. If I have a number of items in a top-level collection (for example called Top-Level-Collection2), when I select that item from the side navigation menu (by tapping on the three horizontal lines at the top left), all the content within that collection display as a browse page. This still happens at the top level, even if I set the Collection Open Default to Content View. Can you confirm that this does or does not happen to you?

Anyone have anything about this? Would be great if I could set a top-level collection to NOT view as a browse page, and instead just the first item.

Just so we're on the same page, when we say Top Level, we're talking about the top row of the Content Map page, correct? In the second position of the Top Level in the Content Map page, I have a collection with a number of items in it, about 15 other articles or collections. When I set that collection to Content View, it still displays as a browse page when I access it from the side navigation menu.

OK, thank you. That seems to work for collections NOT in the top level, but not for collections in the top level. Any other suggestion on how to get this to work? If not, I will have to completely redo the content map of the app.

View content only in top-level collection? JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hello,I have a couple of collections in my top-level. However, I only want to view the first article in both the collections, instead of viewing as browse pages. Is that possible?

Re: Few questions about my app JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I think I figured it out with the cover page. But trying to clarify the question anyway, I wanted to have two images for the cover: one for the smaller screen and the other for the larger screen, and also wanted to keep it one-level. So I created an HTML article for the cover with media queries. With HTML articles, the top navigation bar does not show up on the devices, unlike on pages created within the AEM dashboard, where it shows up, and stays there automatically. Since I wanted to be able t...

Re: Few questions about my app JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Thank you for this response. For the issue with multiple covers, I would prefer to only have one top level, since that's really the only page that would have different content. I could create an HTML article for the cover, but when I preview it on a device, it does not have the top navigation, which is different than pages built from the AEM dashboard. Right now the cover is a full page JPG, and I want it to link to the TOC. Is there a way to make the cover JPG link to the TOC, and have a way th...

Few questions about my app JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I'm using AEM Mobile for the first time for a new app, and I have a few questions.• How can I map different cards onto various collections on one page? Right now all the collections are going under one card.• The fonts I uploaded are not coming through on the AEM Preflight app on the iPhone and iPad. In the Font section in the dashboard, there are check marks under Device Font only. Is that a problem?• I created a dynamic banner that is showing up on the AEM Preflight app for iPhone but not on t...

Using DPS 2015 with existing folios JoSchro - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I have a folio built with a previous version of InDesign DPS. I have a few questions regarding using DPS 2015.1. Is it possible to view the folio with DPS 2015?2. Can I make changes to my existing folio with DPS 2015?3. In InDesign CC 2015, I see the Overlays panel, and it says the Adobe Publish overlay authoring in InDesign CC (2015) is coming Summer 2015. Summer is almost over. Is this available yet? If so, how do I get it?4. If I start making an app with DPS 2015, how can I view my work on th...
