If you are on Windows 2016, you will need these additional configurations documented here: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/troubleshoot-aem-forms-pdfg-conversion.html

Hi Joshua, In order take advantage of the adaptive form technology (assuming this is what you mean by "adaptive fields"), you would need a server license for AEM Forms (OSGi), or AEM Forms JEE. The tool formerly known as LiveCycle Designer is now referred to as Adobe AEM Forms Designer. It can still be used to design dynamic PDF Forms which are supported in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. The server license for AEM Forms, which is inclusive of all the legacy LiveCycle server ba...

I think I see.the wording is slightly different in the documentation from what is actually in the bundle configutation..the actual wording is "All users -All the users, anonymous, or logged in, can preview attachments, and use 'Verify Step' in forms"the text in step 12 says "All users - All the users, anonymous or logged in, can preview attachments, verify and sign forms".This is the option to pick at step 12.Is that what you mean?

Yes. the steps are different depending on your Forms version. So, in this case it appears you are following documentation targeted for 6.4. Is your version below 6.4, say 6.3, for example? In the Allow field, select All users - All the users, anonymous or logged in, can preview attachments, verify and sign forms, and click Save. Author instance is configured to use Adobe Sign. This setting is valid for the Forms Common Configuration Service in version 6.4.thanks,KJ

Hi,As Mayank has suggested it would be valuable and I would say a best practice to reuse your code here. You can use a ScriptObject, and write your function there and call it from each of the fields that use it, and you can further extend this to be used by other forms by creating a scriptObject fragment to be stored in your fragment library.Script Objects and Fragments are discussed and documented here in these Designer help documents:https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/experience-manag...

Alexander, you will need to add the MaxResolvedXSDNodes as a new DWORD(32) value under the Options key. I don't believe it is there by default.Sorry if that was not clear. Thanks,KJ

To add to what Mayank has said, if you import your AcroForm into Designer, you can do it either of two ways:1) bring it in as artwork, where the appearance is preserved, and this will generate a special static interactive PDF form, where you can overlay field objects to the appearance of the form. 2) you can also important it and Designer will do a best effort starting point to generate your dynamic, or static Interactive PDF. there are no restrictions in this path on the types of objects you ca...

Are you using AEM Forms 6.4? It's not clear what your version of AEM Forms is. I would have a look at the gemfire.logs, since its the gemfire cache that is shutting down. As Mayank points out, 20s is far too long a delay between nodes. the default timeout is 5000ms.

You cannot enable Reader Extensions from LiveCycle or AEM Forms Designer directly. You can add a limited set of Reader Extensions to the PDF if you have Acrobat Professional. For the full set of Reader Extension rights, you need the AEM Forms Reader Extensions Service, and 2D barcode is a right the server service can provide. PLease see the documentation at [1].[1] Adobe Experience Manager Help | Overview of AEM Document ServicesSee :"Reader Extension Service"

I am fairly certain, most 3rd party viewers do not support the security libraries required to view a policy protected document. You would need Acrobat Professional, Acrobat Reader, or Acrobat Reader mobile. There is supporting documentation here, on the architecture and clients supported at [1].[1] Adobe Experience Manager Help | Document security offerings
