This feature is at least partially completed I think in version 5.2. A
feature was added to click and drag metrics in a simple table using only
one dimension. The user must hold down the CTRL key while dragging the
metric to it's new position.
I totally agree with this one. A forum may serve this function since you
are able to perform searches on topics. We do have the Google Insight
forum but not all Insight users are members and we don't have a good way
to get the word out to all users to join it. Moving over to Omniture's
forum might work but they would need to create one that is specific to
Insight. Along with that Omniture would need to be the one to champion
use of the Insight forum since they would have access to Insight client...
At minimum, make sure that 2D Process maps can be printed in this dimmed
state. Plus provide an option for a directional arrow next to the value
shown as I have some people who can't see the thick arrow from point to
Details Table is my favorite Insight feature. Currently there is no
control of the sort order in a Details Table. It would be great if
Details Table had the ability to sort the same way as a regular table.
For example, a common sort order I would use is on Hour on the Sessions
level and then by Visitor ID. Perhaps a way to tag a dimension on the
table as 1st sort order, 2nd sort order, etc.
I realize this may be tough to do but it’s even tougher for
Administrators to know the best combination of settings for Update
Interval, Maximum Slice Size, Result Memory Limit, etc. There is no
training available for this. It would help to provide some sort of
automation to help determine the optimum settings based on historical
performance running reports. It may require something to parse
performance metrics out of logs that can be used to recommend better
settings. I guess this is more of an...
Great suggestion Craig. Our analysts use these graphs extensively but
find options very limiting. They typically end up exporting the data
into excel which provides them with greater flexibilty regarding display
options/features, data inclusion/exclusion, etc.
Wow, that is a pretty good idea. Parent level of dimension has always
been confusing to most users when selecting queries; usually leading to
misinterpretation of results. A visual clue probably would be very
helpful and would make users more conscious of the parent level and it's
I echo everyone's comments. From an Administration perspective, it would
greatly help understanding which profiles users are actively using. We
manage over 20+ profiles here and it may provide leverage for the
platform to reduce the number of profiles or at least reduce the number
of active profiles if we better understood when users where accessing
