Hi EveryoneAny suggestions on how can I build a metric where I want to keep engagement number as 1 if there are more than one engagements (video view, asset download, click to call etc) in a single visit. i.e. we want to consider only one engagement per visit event if there are more engagements? For example: if a user comes to site and downloads an asset, views one video and click on the call button, it ideally makes 3 engagements but any solution (via segmentation/calculated metrics) if we can c...

Thanks for the quick response. We are capturing this in both Evar and Prop so Pathing should also interpret somethingregarding the sequential segment, I created one to see the user activity after unsuccessful search (results appear for search term but user did not click on it so we want to see what users did when they did not click on the search results). Is the below logic correct to achieve thisInternal search term ="search term" [ONLY AFTER SEQUENCE]then within one HITsuccessful search event do...

Pathing in Internal Search Terms

Hi All,How to interpret the "site exits" in pathing report of internal search terms report? Does it mean 1. It was the last term searched in the visit2. When this particular term was searched, users did not click on any of the search results but left the site immediately3. When users searched for this term, they clicked on any of the link in search results and then exit the site? Please suggest how do you interpret this only in case of "Internal search terms". Regards,Kamal

Re: Entry Pages not equal to hit depth 1 or Visit depth 1 Page report

One of the reasons when it will not match. suppose you opened the website, session expired and when you came back to the site, you clicked one link which did not generate page view(for example pop-up opened for video) but hit becomes 1. and now you click on the other link and in that case page view is generated, the page becomes the entry page but wont be equivalent to hit=1

Hi brian auDoes adding this metric against any dimension provides the same context? I want to apply it against "Last touch channel" to see how much additional page views or engagement a particular marketing channel has generated? Does it make sense? Please suggest/Regards,Kamal

Re: Segment not filtering tracking code correctly

Further to this question: If I want to see the user activity by a set of tracking codes and create the segment using HIT containers (conaints all those specific tracking codes), would it return the correct conversions. Tracking code instances would be fine as it is HIT based segment but if user went to other pages, and downloaded some assets, filled out forms, will those conversions from other pages be considered in this HIT based segment.Regards,Kamal

Re: Last Touch Channel Data Discrepancy in Local and Global Reporting Suites

Thanks for the detailed response Arun and explaining it. "In GBL Report Suite, Social Network will have 5 Page Views(2 in abc.com and 3 in xyz.com) and Lead Count. Since it is global report suite, referrer will persist."As you also mentioned that Global will have 5 pageviews and one lead count. In my reports, I see only page views but none or less lead count. If there are 5 lead events from Social in local reporting suite then Global should at least show 5 lead events but it shows only one for t...

Last Touch Channel Data Discrepancy in Local and Global Reporting Suites

I am using last touch channel report to see the form conversions (event) from social networks. If I use last touch channel dimension against Event which is used to capture form fills then it shows different data in local reporting suite and Global reporting suites. Why does Global and Local reporting suite data doesn't match when we are sending image requests to both local and global reporting suites. Moreover, data shown for conversions is less in Global but is more in local reporting suite whic...

Deletion of Segment Should Display Dashboards Using it

When we delete any segment, it shows the notification that it could have been used in dashboards but it doesn't show the name of dashboards using this segment. Ideally, it should display all the dashboards which are currently using a particular segment so we can easily do segments cleanup whenever required.

ashborges Can you suggest how can we get the average time spent for all pages in the one go. As we could not find this feature in the Data Warehouse and we need to get the time spent for all the pages. If we go via workspace then we can only export 200 rows at once.

Every Segment in RTP Fires Adobe Server Call
Avatar

We have integrated RTP and Adobe SC. We have multiple segments created in the RTP and if any user falls in 5 segments, for example, then 5 additional Adobe server calls (image requests) are initiated. As every server call is chargeable and it also impacts the bounce rate as multiple image requests are firing on the page load so it is not considered as bounce. Is there any way that server calls don't generate when a user falls under any segment created in RTP?

In Adobe SC, there should also be option to schedule the dashboards quarterly. We are sending 100+ dashboards quarterly but all that is manual effort to do so and this takes a lot of time every quarter.
