I am very, very pleased to report that segment management is now
available with the Adobe Analytics Spring 2014 release! I believe we got
most of the requested features into the release; if there is something
that we missed, please create a new idea and we will monitor it.
Good idea, much more handy than notes in the report. As long as you
could upload and share across report suites all your definitions rather
than doing them individually. In the absence of this, we make a glossary
available to our users - sharing a matrix that covers all prop, event
and evar definitions against their identifying numbers (which we've made
consistent across all deployments).
Whilst the alerts function is very helpful for setting absolute trigger
values, it seems to be impossible to set an alert to trigger in when a
value changes by a -ve %. For example, I want to trigger an alert when
my unique visitors decreases by 25%.Even if I set the alert to -25% it
still triggers whenever the 25% threshold is breached (either +ve or
-ve) If Adobe could add that ad It's a simple change, but would really
uplevel the effectiveness of this function.
Completely agree with lexham, we run into this issue when scheduling
dashboards & reports on a daily basis. The current interface makes it
extremely difficult to sort, filter, group, or remove any number of
dashboards. Not to mention when you are trying to schedule the same
report for multiple sites or time frames, scheduling one-by-one just
doesn't make sense. A more useful dashboard manager and scheduling tool
would make a world of difference.
Thanks for the tip, but that doesn't work if the start date is set for
something other than the first of the month. Since My report starts on
4/22, the rolling date option is set to "daily" without me being able to
affic-from-SiteCatalyst/idi-p/27 for a long-term view of what we're
looking at. For now, I'm going to mark this as "Reviewed" since it will
be addressed via a separate idea.
