That is so simple of a solution, I had no idea it existed.  Thanks!

Simplified way to make changes to custom reports

I'd like the ability to edit a custom report from directly within the report; perhaps something similar to how you can edit a dashboard reportlet. It would save time, since the current process involves making changes to the current report, saving it as a new custom report, and then going into the Admin Console >> Menu Customization section to delete the old version of the report. Seems like an awful lot of effort, especially if I just want to change a rolling date setting or filter.

I'm not sure if you are aware of the SAINT FTP feature; it allows you to select a group of report suites to which it will upload the classification file. So you could select all report suites and create an FTP account for that group, then do one upload to that FTP account to have it process in all report suites. -Jessica

Change login page so "remember my login" checkbox comes before the login button

Whenever I need to login to the Online Marketing Suite (see screenshot), I tab through each of the form fields. However, due to the order of the login button vs. the "remember my login" checkbox, I have to hit tab to get past the login button, hit the space key to check the box, and do SHIFT+Tab to get back to the login button. A simple fix would be to change the order of these two items on the form. I have to clear my cookies every few days for testing purposes, so I run into this issue quite o...

Ability to edit Discover container type after segment has been built
Avatar

I often run into a situation where I have a segment in Discover that has many different segment rules built directly into the container (not just nested elements), and then I realize towards the end that I really wanted to use a different type of container (e.g. Page View instead of Visit). It would save a great deal of time and reduce the risk of error if I could just edit the container type from within the Rule Builder wizard. For instance, where it says "Name: Visit" when going to edit a Visi...

ClientCare email responses should know to automatically CC those copied on original ticket.

Quite often, I am submitting ClientCare tickets (via email) for other members of my team (at times, up to 10 different people). Whenever I receive an update from ClientCare, I have to forward ClientCare's email onto other users to make sure they are constantly in the loop. It would be great if, whenever I CC others on an email to ClientCare, the system automatically knows to CC them when the ClientCare member responds.

I 100% agree with needing different menu customization settings for different users and/or different report suites.

I completely agree with #1. Sometimes I know there are going to be more than 50,000 records returned in a report, but I still need to have the grand total of all records for that variable (without specifying the top "n" instances), in order to calculate an accurate % of total in an automated fashion.

Calendar "Compare Dates" Option Should be More Flexible
Avatar

When looking at a single date range, using 7/11/2010 - 7/17/2010, I don't like that when I then select to "Compare Dates" and select the week prior (7/4/2010 - 7/10/2010), the "Change" column does the calculation based on OLD minus NEW (i.e. week ending 7/10/2010 minus week ending 7/17/2010 - see attachment). The only way to get around this is to move the order of the date ranges to pull the old dates first; however, this doesn't seem like a great solution, since the report then shows the older ...

Re: Wrapping metric header text in Reportlets

Personally, I think the issue could be solved by tweaking the new dashboard functionality to have a little more flexibility in terms of reportlet size. I like that there are now defined regions to drop a reportlet into, versus the infinite options that existed previously. However, this also causes inefficient use of space at times, especially if I have one reportlet that has 10 rows of data (e.g. top 10 products sold), while another reportlet has only 1 row of information. It would be great if t...

Re: Time frame granularity for Alert rules

To expand further on this "time frame granularity" idea, it would be extremely useful to set alerts to ignore certain hours when setting hourly alerts. Use Case: If I'm trying to monitor site traffic and orders by hour to make sure the site doesn't go down, I don't need alerts sent from 1AM - 5AM when I already know traffic will be minimal.

De-duplicate Classifications

I would like to see the ability to de-duplicate classification metrics inside of SiteCatalyst UI and Excel plug-ins, instead of relying on Discover/Data Warehouse to do so.

Provide guidelines around minimizing sampling in Discover
Avatar

I've been told that Discover samples based on complex algorithms. However, it would be great to know some standard guidelines to minimize this behavior or the ability to turn off sampling in crucial situations. There are times when I simply cannot wait on a Data Warehouse request to get delivered and I need to drill in deep enough in Discover to see what is impacting specific user types. Sampling throws this analysis off.
