I have lost hours of work over time using workspaces due to not remembering to press save, after having my attention pulled onto something else. Sometimes workspace tries to accommodate this with its unsaved changes prompt, sort of a 'pick up where you left off' feature, but it doesn't save everything. Just yesterday I lost about 2 hours of work.An autosave feature saving every few minutes, or after every action, would save significant time. I also would like to be able to annotate anomalies against a metric. This could tie an annotation to both the metric, and the time range it happened within. If I annotated an hour, that annotation would belong to the metric, hour, day, week, month etc. Users should be able to see this information in any export of data that uses that metric and time range.The way I'd like to work with annotation is writing it against the anomaly in a table / chart. This has been an issue for a long time. Every time I build out a query that I want duplicated to another report suite, with the same information, and I flip report suite, I know I'm going to have to spend minutes repopulating the query. It should not be this time consuming and difficult.I imagine most customers have a dev > prod situation. We in particular have two report suites that have identical configuration. Both would be solved with this quality of life improvement for customers.

"Percent Change" in Workspace - smarter calculation based on granularity

I've created a time period column from the context menu for "These 6 weeks last year" - p.s. thanks for this feature! So useful.When I try to create a metric based on my selection, and ask for percent change, what I really want is for each day to be compared against each other e.g. Feb 4th 2018 vs Feb 5th 2017 (current day vs current day -364).What I actually get, are visits for Feb 4th 2018 vs the entire 6 week date range, and it breaks my workspace by forcing the date range to start at Feb 5th...

Do you mean within a workspace? I have this problem in workspaces - I can type "Funnel" for example, and I want to see our dozen or so custom funnel events, but I see dozens of calculated metrics first. I want the ability to filter calculated in or out of the search view.

We want the ability to sum data from report suites where they share the same metric implementation. It can also be achieved through multi-suite tagging, though that is cost prohibitive.

I would like the ability to write calculated metrics. This is for two reasons:I'm used to writing long formulas, nesting conditions and operators.
