Re: Bring Back Time Spent Per Visit for total site - Adobe Analytics 21-05-2010
Doesn't this exist in Site Metrics > Time Spent Per Visit? Just add "Visits (Report-Specific)" as your metric.

New and Repeat Visitors as a metric - Adobe Analytics 20-05-2010
Everywhere we have Visitors as a metric, we should also be able to pull in New Visitors and Repeat Visitors too! That'd be really cool!

Paid Search Detection Case-sensitivity - Adobe Analytics 11-05-2010
The Paid Search Detection Case-Sensitivity is nice, but it doesn't seem to work properly in the interface. For example, here is how my Report Suites were set up: I wanted to add cid (lowercase) as well: However, when I did this, I received a message that it was successful, but a new line was not created: Shouldn't they both be shown here now?

Re: Trend More Than 1 Metric in Trend Reports/Graphs - Adobe Analytics 10-05-2010
Personally, I think adding a second axis is a good idea. Perhaps with a simple interface to:- Swap the axes that the metrics live on- Show only one metric at a time- Pull in even more than 2 metrics in the TableLove it! It's very frustrating to switch metrics back and forth

Make ProdView more available! - Adobe Analytics 07-05-2010
ProdView is supposed to be just a regular event, but it's barely available throughout the report suite! At least add it to Pages and eVar reports. I'm wasting an event just to duplicate prodView. Thanks!

Make it easier to add non-sequential events and eVars - Adobe Analytics 06-05-2010
If I create a new Report Suite, and want to add event31 in the Admin Console, I'll have to sequentially click "Add New" 31 times or less. It'd be nice to have a drop-down that I can click to simply "Add New: Event31" or something along those lines. Would just make for less time-wasting in the Admin Console. Luckily, sProps are easy because I can click "Add New" once, then hit Enter several times to add multiple "Disabled" variables. Thanks!

More friendly names than eVar#, sProp#, and event# - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2010
So I realize this is a pretty far out-there idea, but hey, that's what the Idea Exchange is all about right? Not just finding bugs and complaining...So here's my thinking:eVars, sProps, events => What do these even mean to developers? Sure Omniture experts know the difference. And Developers who have implemented them before have put up with their usage, but in reality, they are the most unfriendly variable names ever! Why not give us the ability to name our own variables? Imagine how cool it'd b...

Re: Free Unified Traffic Sources Report - Adobe Analytics 27-04-2010
This is another report that is executed much better in Google Analytics. The Traffic Source report in GA shows a simple breakdown of: Referring Sites vs Direct Traffic vs Search. Omniture could enhance this by including Campaign tracking as well. Certainly would be an improvement over looking at the Tracking Code Report, drilling down from the "None" and switching back and forth between reports...

In SiteCatalyst, De-Duplicate Orders in Products Classification - Adobe Analytics 26-04-2010
SiteCatalyst does not de-duplicate Orders in Product Classifications. For example: A user buys 2 products in a single order (A Cheeseburger - $2 and a Hot Dog - $1). The Products report would show: Product Units Orders Revenue Cheeseburger 1 1 $2Hot Dog 1 1 $1Total 2 1 $3 Which is correct! However, if Cheeseburgers and Hot Dogs are classified as Food, then the classification report would look like:Product Group Units Orders RevenueFood 2 2 $3Total 2 1 $3 So the issue here is although Orders are ...
