How to create a report for Entry page = x then user did Y - Adobe Analytics 14-02-2019
Hi,I am trying to create a specific report and was hoping for some advice. What I am trying to do is see how many users entered on a specific page and then viewed another specific page in the next page view. For ease, lets use the homepage as the entry page and a product page as the "other" page.If I create a segment that is:Entry page = homepagethen within 1 page viewpage = product pagethis won't give me what I am looking for because entry page is a visit level dimension, so if the user went to ...

Re: Workspace: Easier custom date range creator - Adobe Analytics 30-01-2019
Thanks Andrey. That is very useful if I am comparing specific weeks but if I want a more custom date range, like 10 days, I would still need to do it another way

Workspace: Easier custom date range creator - Adobe Analytics 29-01-2019
I had a request from a colleague to create a Workspace project that would allow them to compare two date ranges for specific metrics. The two date ranges weren't set in stone, they could be any two set of dates, so I couldn't pre-set the date ranges. I created a report that looks like this:It would be nice if I could right click on each of the date ranges and change them. This would make it quicker to alter the date ranges I want to compare.

Re: Potential Bug: Last touch event in Workspace doesn't work - Adobe Analytics 20-11-2018
Yes, if I just use the standard version of the event it works fine.

Search function in Workspace - make it more open like Ad-hoc - Adobe Analytics 14-11-2018
One of the events we have on our site is called Search: with results (e11). In Ad-hoc, if I am searching for this, i can type in "e11) search with" and it will be found, however, when I type in the same in Workspace, it won't be found. In Workspace, I need to get the order of the words/numbers correct, so, for example, "search with e11)" does work.It would be easier if the search style of ad-hoc was replicated in Workspace as it makes finding certain variables/events that you may have forgotten ...

Potential Bug: Last touch event in Workspace doesn't work - Adobe Analytics 14-11-2018
I created a report in Ad-Hoc analysis, using list2 as the dimension and event 14 (last touch) as the metric and I got data back.i then tried to recreate this in workspace (because I wanted to see if the data would be the same) so I added list2 as the dimension and used e16 as the event. I then edited e16 to use nnon-default attribution model and set it to last touch - visit. I then got an error saying "ERROR This dimension does not currently support non-default attribution models".Why does it su...

Does not exist vs Exists (exclude) - Adobe Analytics 31-10-2018
I have a question about the difference between a segment using does not exist and exists but then excluding it.I am trying to get data for a conversion rate (new upload/unique visitors) and to see how what it is when I exclude a specific event. So, i've created the event in two ways:1. Visitor level - eventX does not exist2. Visitor level - eventX exists (exclude)They give me very different results (does not exist segment shows conversion of 1.91% and exclude segment shows 1.15%) and I'm trying t...

Re: Workspace: How to compare two segments and only adjust one? - Adobe Analytics 29-10-2018
Hi Urs,Thanks for the tip. This is very useful when creating two new segments from scratch. However, if I already have a saved segment that I am using and want to make a small edit to it and compare the two, then it doesn't work.jen.lasserFor example, if I have a segment set at hit level and I want to create another version of it on visit level, just to quickly look at the difference, but I don't want to save the visit level one.thanks.Also, I've upvoted your idea Urs, I think i's a really good ...

Workspace: How to compare two segments and only adjust one? - Adobe Analytics 26-10-2018
This is something I do in Ad-Hoc, where it is very easy to do, but I want to do the same thing in Workspace but can't figure out how to.What I am trying to do is this:1. Create a segment2. Drag two instances of that segment in to a report3. Edit one of the two instances, so I can compare them vs each other (to see what the difference is)in Ad-hoc, this works fine. In Workspace, any edit I make to the instances I edit will also be made to the instance I didn't edit. I know I can use Save As, but ...
