Hi, I know the product formerly used to be officially named as Omniture and since Adobe took it over it is Adobe Analytics. But actually the URL is still omniture.com and the Mails one receives are from an omniture domain etc... This is quite confusing... Is there any plans to finally switch it/rebrand it?

I'm aware of this distiction. And I'm only speakign of mobile hits. Therefore my question: "what is the criteria for service providers to be tracked as ISPs or Mobile Carriers?"

Could it be that certain IP adresses cannot get attributed to a certain domain name? But funny thing is, IP adresses didn't change and in the past were attributed to correct domain name, now not anymore... ?

Hi, I'm a little bit confused when comparing the entries for the "Entry page" report and the entries for the "Original referring domain" and "Referring domain" report. The weird thing is: I have lot more entries (~25%) in both the original referring domains report and the entry page report than in the referring domains report. Shouldn't the numbers match in all three reports?! A user doesn't "enter" twice during a session in my understanding.Instances and visits do not match either for the referr...

OK I answered this question by myself. The "none"-item only disappeared when applying a comparison between 2 dates and only when the date in the left column didn't contain the "none"-item, then the compared, later date in the second column would exclude this item too. Seems like the comparison mode always takes the items of the first column as a reference. Just learnt that.

Can one change settings whether the "none"-bucket item shows up when applying a breakdown or not?Does it matter if the breakdown applied is a report with classified data?E.g. I have an entry page where I want to see conversion metrics per grouped trackers. However we always have some unclassified trackers because classification isn't always up-to-date. In my understanding this unclassified data should show up as "none"-item. But it doesn't. This leads to confusing reports where the visits and ot...

Hi, what is the criteria for service providers to be tracked as ISPs or Mobile Carriers? I ask this question because we have some Mobile Carriers which DO NOT appear in the Domains report. We have quite a lot of "Nones" in Domains report. Shouldn't every visit be attributed to a service provider?

Hi, despite of report scheduling we have an awful lot of manual work to do when trying to report KPIs for all our report suites. The issue is not that we have different report suites but rather the whole process of schedulling lots of reports, copying the data from mail to excel and then copying this to powerpoint. Is there possibilities with APIs to simplify this process? Any suggestions?

Settings for Campaign, TrackingServer and TrackingServerSecure are the same. Only difference is that one tracking request URL starts with https://simg. and the other with http://img.But that shouldn't interfere.

Hi,in the morning hours of Apr 26 (6am-9am CET) there were some maintenance works according to status.adobe.com. During that time all my alerts were triggered with null (0) values, even though the reports state otherwise. It's very likely that this was caused somehow by maintenance works. These false alarms make people jumpy, is there any way to prevent this or could maintenance works for Reports & Analytics be announced to the users?

Hi,we have a set of promotional pages which are managed by an own CMS tool. The rest of the website uses another framework. Both are tracked in same report suite and both set of pages appear in the reports. However if user goes from promos page to another page, we cannot see this journey. In the reports I mostly have exits for these promos pages, even though lots of users continue their journey. I believe this is due to some faulty settings. The pages cannot be attributed to same visitor, even th...

Hi, I've got a question regarding fallout report. Imagine I have a conversion process that requires user to visit page A, go to an external website and come back to page A with a query string to finally complete process by visiting page B. Note, that user can't visit page B without having followed the external link.Would the fallout report page A > page B > page A make sense in this case?

Hi, I have some dashboards that were created by a former user in the company which show me the lines of the items. But interestingly it doesn't start with item number one in the report but rather with item number 25. I wasn't aware one can do this, but it would be handy when creating some dashboards where I don't want to see the, e.g., top 10 items but rather the following ones. Any clue on how to do this?

Not really. Since I don't only need to know IF that sequence occured, but rather WHAT occured during that sequence, which I can only find out by applying a specific metric. My case is this: User can visit pages W, X, Y, Z in this order but he can also skip W and directly start this process with X. During the same visit I have both journeys. Now I need to know the amount of a custom success event for Z for both journeys. How could I filter that information?

Hi, I want to ivnestigate a specific user journey and need to focus on what happened between a certain sequence of 4 page views. How would I isolate that with a segment? When I apply Fallout Report and create a segment based on that, the tool suggests me to use the Visit dimension: but I'm not interested in the whole visit of that user who pursued this sequence of page views. When I change to "Hit-"dimension, I get no data - probably because 4 pages connected with "then"-operator aren't allowed ...

TanmayM wrote... Hi, Could you please confirm me if pathing is enabled on that particular report suite? Pathing is report suite specific. Also let me know which prop collects the pathing data. Thanks. Tanmay Yes, in general it is enabled. I can see paths. Maybe the problem is - I just realized - the limitation to 8 pages visits? The specific user journey was longer.I tried to look at the Full Path report for the pageName variable.

And further, what does this message in the previous site section report mean: "The selected page participated in 39.0% of total site path views" - when I apply a segment based on Hit dimension for just this one page?! Shouldn't it at least be 100% (or above if you consider during one visit there could be more than just one path leading to it)?

Hi, I've a couple of pages of one Site Section of which I want to know the preceding site sections. Thus I created a segment based on Hit dimension with the criteria of the pages. When I apply this segment in the "Previous Site Section Flow" I get a different number of total path views as when I look at each page's previous path flow and sum the totals. How is this possible? Shouldn't the number match?

Hi, I know I can define the settings for the delimiter under Components>Report Settings. Unfortunately this doesn't affect reports generated by DWH. This is especially annoying since the default delimiter is a comma which is annoying because it conflicts with the date format.

Yes, but if I have a segment with then-condition, I segment for only the sequenced pageA>B visits. Then it should be the same.

Hi there, I created a segment (Visit: pageA then pageB) with the help of the FallOut report. The Fallout report tells me I have 1746 Visits that visited page A and then page B. If I apply the FallOut segment in the Visits report this number matches. However, if I apply the same segment in the FullPaths report I only get full Paths for 412 visits. How's that possible? I didn't alter the segmentation, everyhing else (date range) remains the same. Shouldn't both numbers match?

Yes, the domains are added to the internal URL filters and I have to be more specific. It's not different domains, but rather one subdomain that doesn't connect to the rest. So we have domain abc.com and I have subdomain.abc.com The latter pages aren't connected to the rest of the domain's pages. Yes, they both report to the same rsid. Can this hv something to do with visitor migration key?

Hi, I'm experiencing a problem when trying to figure out user journey with the pathing reports. Basically we have some pages that lie on another domain and whenever the user visits those pages, the tracking session gets interrupted and starts anew. So I cannot look at paths being taken on these pages and coming back from them. I cannot correlate the information happening on the pages with the rest of the user journey. But I'm not sure why this is the case. If I use the debugger I cannot find big...
