Re: Classifying multiple values in one line - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Thanks for your help. I believe Rule builder won't help me here, since my error codes do not always appear in the same order and do not always are the same amount. Sometimes just a few values a passed, sometimes up to 21 values are passed in one line. Delimiter is comma. In order to apply rule builder those values would need to have a fix position.Soemtimes it is ABC,DCE,EFG sometimes it is ABC,DCE only or ABC,EFG. And - as said - it can be up to 21 values.Probably the List Var would help me. Ne...

Classifying multiple values in one line - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi there,on our site we are tracking error codes which happen when users register themselves. We collect these error codes in one eVar. Now I have the problem that these error codes are just codes and I need to classify them to give them meaningful names. If I have one value per item this is no problem, but how do I classify them if I get more codes per eVar, e.g. "eVar1=Error Code A, Error Code B, Error Code X"? The formatis always the same, the codes are separated by commas. Is there a way to ...

Bot Rule doesn't apply - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
When looking at a user agent report, I noticed some bots crawling on our site which are from a CRM tool our marketing uses. These bots weren't blocked via the usual bot filter, thus I created a bot rule that should recognize them via the user agent's parameters. Unfortunately this didn't change much, the bot still appears in the user agent report and inflated our figures. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Merge similar segments to one? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Thank oyu, I know of this option. And we do use it of course. But sometimes we lose the big picture out of sight and create segements that are already in use in other report suites and this leads to an uncontrolled growth which needs to be cleaned once in a while. Seems I'll have to wait for the right update in the future

Merge similar segments to one? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi there, since we use so many report suites for our different products which though have often very similar, if not identical, variables and settings, and we use segmentation a lot, sometimes users create segments with definitions that already exist in another report suite. Because the numbers of segments grows constantly, and sometimes changes have to be undertaken that affect one segment and thus we have to change them all separatly, is there a way to unify similar segments? Since I cannot jus...

Re: Segment of organic traffic only - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
I'm not sure how that could help. This reprot shows me the various sources of the traffic, among others search engines too. Butit doesn't distinguish between organic/paid search traffic.

Re: Segment of organic traffic only - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015

Re: Segment of organic traffic only - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Yes we have that as well. Each user who comes in through paid search gets a specific tracker identification number with which we can isolate them from the rest. So yes, we have both, affiliate and organic traffic.
