Re: Referrer Types report in Site Catalyst is no longer populating now that DTM in use - Dynamic Tag Management 20-06-2017
jon_kranzReferrers are identified based on the Internal URL filters specified for a report suite. The most common reason traffic sources reports don't populate data is that the Internal URL Filter List isn't defined or defined incorrectly.Check if you have added your domain to the list. You would need to remove the rule listing a period (.) as a filter, and add your own site. The link below describes the steps to do the above: Internal URL Filters

Re: More than 100% Visits - Adobe Analytics 05-04-2016
We are also seeing an excessive amount of "None" in Visitor State. It's confusing our marketing department and contributes to an overall lack of trust in the numbers we are capturing using Adobe Analytics. Is there a way to correct this problem so that it only fires once?

Re: Editing Data Elements - Indicate where it is being used within DTM - Dynamic Tag Management 12-05-2015
This is one of the biggest gripes for me at the moment when reviewing an old DTM implementation. Trying to clean up data element that are no longer in use is very time consuming when you dont know where it is being used as each rule would need to be checked. It would also be useful when edits to a direct call rule are being made to check that no adverse impact was casued as a result of the edit.

PROBLEMIt would be very helpful to see when an installed tool or rule or data element was last updated. SUGGESTED SOLUTIONProvide a column to screens that list installed tools or rules or data elements. Also, include an "updated" indicator on the edit screens for the above. Includes day of week, month day, year and time stamp (in my local time zone).

Include "Contains Code" indicator in more places - Dynamic Tag Management 21-03-2014
PROBLEMWhen trouble-shooting a site with a large amount of rules or data elements, DTM does not display its "Contains Code" indicator everywhere a custom script is present. This makes it difficult to find a rule containing custom or third-party code I am looking for. So, it takes a lot of effort to find the code. SUGGESTED SOLUTION(S)1. Within any rule, include the "Contains Code" indicator in headings for Conditions, Google Analytics, Javascript/Third Party Tags (see attached png file)2. For th...
