I understand what you're trying to do. You're simply wanting to capture the pageName on your success events. You could actually approach this in one of two ways.If you want to simply add pageName to a trackAction() call without capturing the remainder of your global variables that fire on every page view, you can simply fire the page name value you wish to track within a context value pair. For example: set a.pageName to the value you would prefer to see. When configured correctly, within your d...

Hi Mario,I do not think there is anything that is like App interruption.I would advise you to work with your developers to add additional logic to track this. For example there is the following IOS developer doc: Responding to Interruptions Strategies for Handling App State TransitionsSo you will have 2 options:Send a trackAction call when the app enters foreground againSend a trackActionFromBackground when the app enters background doc Analytics Methods Best regards.Alexis Cazes

That certainly seems plausible, however color customization has not yet been fully introduced into workspace yet.You are totally welcome to play around with workspace settings, but it seems like report builder with excel's conditional formatting would be a lot easier to work with, and have more customization options available.

It seems like you will have to create 3 custom events within the app. Track action can work it really depends on how your app is built and the UI integrates the users interaction upon/during chat start.

The pageName variable (and pageURL variable) are always stripped from s.tl() image requests. If you would like to tie pageName data with action hits, you will want to pass them into custom variables, and ensure those custom variables are sent in the same image request.

Open the developer tools in your browser (usually F12), look for the network tab which displays requests you are sending, look for the tracking request (usually it contains the pattern "/b/ss/" ) and then you can see what you send to Adobe. v's are eVars, c's are props. But it also depends on the implementation.

Pretty certain you can achieve this if you are willing to use a bar graph in lieu of a line graph.Calculated MetricColumn Sum [If page views > 100, 1, else 0]Use month as a dynamic column header below the metric.Drop page or whatever you dimension is into the table.Select the dimension title and viz as a bar graph. This works for values that exceed a threshold, its impossible to use this for values below a threshold (less than 100) because if a user doesn't view a product at least once it would n...

I've read a couple places on this forum that it's difficult to sift through the hosts in Charles to find the analytics calls.... mlively One trick I use to clean up the Sequence view is I right click on a desired host (usually the analytics host) and select Focus. This organizes the view by placing all other hosts in a folder called “Other Hosts”. Then when I am testing the analytics tags, I'm not bombarded with seeing all the other traffic occurring. See Charles description here: https://www.ch...

Hi Jonathan,With respect to your above explanantion, can you please elaborate on this "during a visit, login_status sends both logged in AND not logged in (because someone logged in during a visit), then the value is unspecified in analytics. " Are you saying that if a user is logged in and if he logs out and comes back as an anonymous user in the same visit then we see unspecified?Your comments on this will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Sarah,The article that you referenced seems to be confusing to be honest. I would suggest you to read these articles when it comes to how values of success events are allocated based on the allocation selected:Metric Calculations Participation I think the article that you referenced fail to explain the importance of expiration and allocation in Adobe Analytics data processing. A prop which is a traffic variable will always expire on the hit and have linear allocation. That's it, which means ...

Not sure if you have Data Workbench in your organization or not but this is a standard fea in it. DWB is for more advanced analysis such as using regression in the way you are asking about. If you want some some more information on this feel free to reach out and I can answer any questions you have.

A really easy way to figure out where they're coming from would be to create a segment excluding all hits where prop42 exists. Then you could run reporting on any dimension that you want and apply that segment.

urs.boller is 100% correct here, calculating the time spent metric on your own is a lot more hassle than it's worth. There are also additional factors to take into consideration, such as the exclusion of single page visits (since there isn't a second hit to get the time spent). The summary numbers at the top of each row in workspace apply as if the dimensions was a single value. For example, if you're looking at all of September broken out by day, the summaries at the top would be for the entire...
