This is available in SiteCatalyst 15. You can breakdown paid or natural search engines & keywords by each other, by pages, or by other dimensions.

Excellent points, Eric. Pages that end up with zero bounce rate will quickly prove that hard bounce doesn't work. Sounds like the default should be a hard bounce, with an option to create a soft bounce metric.

Great idea, Adam. Implemented in SiteCatalyst 14.9 - anytime you send an email, the email contains a link back to the report.

Does the marketing channels report help resolve this? Keywords can be classified there.

I hate the idea of adding so many options, but I recognize the need for them. Would you use one of these 90% of the time? Bret

Before we provide a bounce rate (good discussions above about visits vs. entries, BTW), we need to agree on the definition of a bounce. If someone lands on your site, does nothing, and leaves, that's clearly a bounce. If someone lands on your site, then watches a video, or clicks an exit or download link, but does NOT view another page, is that a bounce? I have a fairly strong opinion, but before I taint you with it, I want to hear whether video watching or link clicking disqualifies a visit from...

The marketing channels report can generally be used in place of the Unified Sources VISTA rule (with some exceptions), and is based on the internal URL filters in the Admin Console. Let us know what you think.

If I'm understanding correctly, this is possible today. Go to My Account > Report Settings and check the box that says Show "None," "Unspecified" and "Typed/Bookmarked" data in report graphs. Then you can trend None on any report. If this doesn't meet the need, please let me know. In the mean time, I'm marking this as Already Offered.

Just to clarify, is it accurate to say that if we offered a "Landing Pages" report, and allowed you to breakdown the Search Keywords report by Landing Page, this would provide the data you need? Just making sure I understand. There are more elegant ways to make this available from a workflow perspective...just looking to validate. Great point, by the way. It's something I'd like really like to provide, as it has clear and quick value.

Excellent points, Mark. This has plenty of potential, especially on reports that don't have thousands of values in them. Is that how others see it as well?

Great point, PKUK. Does anyone else think using HitWise or another company would meet the need? We're watching privacy laws closely, and this may be a factor. Bret GundersenSiteCatalyst Platform Product Manager

I completely agree. We're looking heavily into this. We're also looking at de-duplicating metrics with merchandising eVars. Bret GundersenSiteCatalyst Platform Product Manager

Great idea. Am I correct in assuming the following?1. This setting would appear in the Admin Console, where all report suites would be visible.2. Once hidden, a report suite would disappear from SiteCatalyst, Discover, ExcelClient, Report Builder, ClickMap...everywhere, right? Makes a lot of sense. I'm curious to see how many users need this.

Thanks for clarifying. To restate (and make sure we understand) in the case of custom reports, bookmarks, and scheduled reports, you want the option to completely disable the percentage column. Sound right?

With SiteCatalyst 14.7 we're copying a bunch more settings, including Geo Seg, Data Warehouse, all correlations and subrelations. Some things, like VISTA rules and participation metrics, are not copied, but you are notified which settings those are.

The new user welcome emails offered in 14.7 provide much of this functionality. I love the idea of including the senders email address.

In SiteCatalyst 14.7, go to Report options > Percent Shown as Number or Graph. This setting is saved in bookmarks and scheduled reports.
