Re: make Bounce Rate default metric - Adobe Analytics 23-09-2010
I hate the idea of adding so many options, but I recognize the need for them. Would you use one of these 90% of the time? Bret

Re: make Bounce Rate default metric - Adobe Analytics 23-09-2010
Before we provide a bounce rate (good discussions above about visits vs. entries, BTW), we need to agree on the definition of a bounce. If someone lands on your site, does nothing, and leaves, that's clearly a bounce. If someone lands on your site, then watches a video, or clicks an exit or download link, but does NOT view another page, is that a bounce? I have a fairly strong opinion, but before I taint you with it, I want to hear whether video watching or link clicking disqualifies a visit from...

Re: Unified Sources Vista Rule - Adobe Analytics 22-07-2010
The marketing channels report can generally be used in place of the Unified Sources VISTA rule (with some exceptions), and is based on the internal URL filters in the Admin Console. Let us know what you think.

Re: Free Unified Traffic Sources Report - Adobe Analytics 22-07-2010
The Marketing Channels report provides a unified view of traffic sources, and is configured in the admin console. Thanks for providing input on it!

Re: Allow Trending of "None" for eVars in SiteCatalyst - Adobe Analytics 12-07-2010
If I'm understanding correctly, this is possible today. Go to My Account > Report Settings and check the box that says Show "None," "Unspecified" and "Typed/Bookmarked" data in report graphs. Then you can trend None on any report. If this doesn't meet the need, please let me know. In the mean time, I'm marking this as Already Offered.

Re: Paid and Natural Search Data by Web Page - Adobe Analytics 23-06-2010
Just to clarify, is it accurate to say that if we offered a "Landing Pages" report, and allowed you to breakdown the Search Keywords report by Landing Page, this would provide the data you need? Just making sure I understand. There are more elegant ways to make this available from a workflow perspective...just looking to validate. Great point, by the way. It's something I'd like really like to provide, as it has clear and quick value.

Re: Sort Reports by Variable/Pagename not just Events/Metrics columns - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2010
Excellent points, Mark. This has plenty of potential, especially on reports that don't have thousands of values in them. Is that how others see it as well?

Re: Include Benchmarks in SiteCatalyst Reports - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2010
Great point, PKUK. Does anyone else think using HitWise or another company would meet the need? We're watching privacy laws closely, and this may be a factor. Bret GundersenSiteCatalyst Platform Product Manager

Re: In SiteCatalyst, De-Duplicate Orders in Products Classification - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2010
I completely agree. We're looking heavily into this. We're also looking at de-duplicating metrics with merchandising eVars. Bret GundersenSiteCatalyst Platform Product Manager
