Values that populate in reporting depend upon what your Analytics implementation team is sending in the server call or if you have processing rule to change the value. You can first check if there is any processing rule for the prop which is modifying the value . If that is not the case, check with implementation team to validate the logic which is setting the prop9 value in the code.

As you mentioned that mid is available in querystring parameter, you can fetch the mid from querystring using function s.Util.getQueryParam and assign to evar.Util.getQueryParam Other method as suggested by Andrey, you can use eVar1="D=mid"; to pull the mid and assign it directly from analytics server call mid parameter to evar.

There is no such default dimension or metrics available in Adobe Analytics. It looks to be custom dimension and event which have been given friendly name as Onsite Searches and Search Term Instances. You may need to check the respective report suite configuration which variable and event is used for these and check the business case. Basically, Instances metrics specify number of time Sear Terms was sent in server call with some value in it. I hope this help.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I do want to solidify some things.The metric page views is incremented in the presence of the pageName or pageURL field. This is why link tracking image requests strip pageName and pageURL.If you re-add pageName or pageURL via processing rules, it kind of becomes this really weird hybrid image request where it increments page views but also has link tracking information. 2/10 would not recommend.The best thing to do would be to use an eVar, which appears to be ho...
