Re: Force to activate page set as scheduled activation and pass arguments to QA environment - Adobe Experience Manager 27-05-2018
Hi Jörg,Thank you for laying out things for me. I really appreciate it.This one was due to licensing. We have already purchased the publisher's license instead of authoring. If it was an authoring instance, I wouldn't have gone in to this kind of problem.Having dispatcher on PROD authoring instance to serve as preview environment will help too but you were right that I need some development time on this.My initial plan is to intercept workflow schedule then include it in the email that the page ...

Re: Force to activate page set as scheduled activation and pass arguments to QA environment - Adobe Experience Manager 24-05-2018
Hi Jörg,I understand that it contradicts the best practices of AEM. The story behind this setup is we want the reviewer to see the actual page as same as the production site. So we made QA as publisher instance then reviewer can only publish from there nothing else (this breaks the best practices of AEM). Reviewer does not have any access to our authoring instance. Actually what happened why we didn't use the workflow approach is it became broken after we migrated from 6.1 to 6.3. And Adobe supp...

Yes we are going to use workflow. But that part will take effect only on the QA side after the reviewer published it.We are using AEM 6.3.

Force to activate page set as scheduled activation and pass arguments to QA environment - Adobe Experience Manager 23-05-2018
Hi guys,We have some scenario here where we have 2 authoring (Author and QA) to handle our content before it will be pushed to live (Publisher). Our problem is how to push the page that is scheduled for activation to QA but we want it to be pushed to QA automatically and include the schedule data as part of the page properties. And when QA person approve the page, it will be treated as scheduled activation on the QA instance. My initial solution is:Author instance:Author => schedule a page to be a...

Re: AEM 6.3 offline Tar compaction error under Windows - Adobe Experience Manager 08-04-2018
Our online compaction was failing since we migrated from 6.1 to 6.3 and I cannot figure out what causes it.One error showing not enough memory to proceed the "Revision Clean up" daily scheduled tasks. Even I increased the memory before running the start.bat again just to fulfill the requirements of the task. So, after running our offline compaction script and added the additional argument, it clears out the failing daily maintenance task and I am able to run my daily maintenance tasks now.

Hi,We are installing SSL on our author instance from here: http://localhost:8502/libs/granite/security/content/sslConfig.htmlSo we wanted to install SSL to our port 4502.After providing the private key (DER format) and SSL certificate (a combination of public and intermediate certificate). And when we try to verify it from here: https://www.digicert.com/help/It shows these:Then this error:We've tried manually replacing the p12 key that AEM generated from what we've generated manually by running c...

Re: Touch UI Richtext (RTE) sourceedit is not saving - Adobe Experience Manager 08-03-2018
Here are the screenshots regarding the disappearance of toolbar after triggering sourceedit icon.1. Default toolbar after clicking the RTE area2. After clicking source edit3. Now after clicking outside the gray areaThe only way we can have the toolbar again is when we close the dialog. We also are unable to save the content when it is on "sourceedit" mode.
