Re: Image into pdf - Adobe LiveCycle 22-09-2010
Will,I think making the image field readOnly should do the trick. For example, attach form1.page1.img.access = "readOnly"; to a button event or the click event of the ImageField itself.Steve

Re: How do I link Live Cycle Designer to Excel? - Adobe LiveCycle 22-09-2010
If Excel is using an OLEDB-compatible data store you could use an OLEDB data connection from a form to insert data into the database. If Excel is not sitting on a database you may be able to use scripting tools (such as Windows Script Host objects) and Excel automation features to read and import the XML exported from the PDF.I have seen Acrobat automation scripts used in the past but I am not sure if the current Acrobat security model allows such functions.Steve

Re: How to make a submit button to upload form to the server? - Adobe LiveCycle 21-09-2010
Tony,Can you clarify which site you are referring to?Regardless of the target HTTP server, interactive PDF forms created in LiveCycle Designer have submission options including traditional HTTP name-value pairs, XML, XML+XDP and the PDF itself.Steve

Re: How do I link Live Cycle Designer to Excel? - Adobe LiveCycle 21-09-2010
You can export data from an interactive PDF as .xml which can be imported into Excel.Designer has an exportData method that can be attached to an event such as a button click.// form1.page1.exportBtn::click - (JavaScript, client)xfa.host.exportData("",0);Steve

Re: HOWTO - Invoke Webservice using WSDL on Local File System - Adobe LiveCycle 21-09-2010
Based upon the WSDL content created when you load http://thewebservice?wsdl in the WebService settings, copy-and-paste the content of the property 'WSDL Content' into a text editor and save the file to your desktop. The WSDL URL can then be changed to point to the file on your desktop. For example, if I saved your WSDL to my Windows 7 desktop the file reference would be file:///C:/Users/stwalker/Desktop/thewebservice.wsdl. I would then change the WebService WSDL URL to file:///C:/Users/stwalker/D...

Re: Paperforms barcodes - Adobe LiveCycle 21-09-2010
Correct. To capture data in a barcode using the PaperFormsBarcode requires either1) users to fill barcoded forms in Acrobat, or2) the barcoded form to be Reader-extended using LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES/ES2 for users who have Adobe ReaderSteve
