Hi Scott,I am not sure that Final Package is the only issue.Ratna Kumar followed the tutorial step by step and it is failing at Build level.Probably even the steps need to be modified to make it a success.Thanks,Rama.

Re: SPAs in AEM AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Arun. Now it makes sense to me.One more question....Let us take the example of a a hospital web site has one section on OP, another on patient self care like fixing appointments and another for surgeries. How could a single page possibly address all these requirements? In this case, what could be the possible "place holders" and "variable sections" (rendered using json data)?Probably there could be multiple variants to "place holders" and "variable sections".This is for me to visualize how a...

SPAs in AEM AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,I was going through Getting Started with SPAs in AEM @ https://solutionpartners.adobe.com/content/dam/spp_assets/public/public_5/Getting_Started_with_SPAs_in_AEM.pdf I am stuck up with the very basic question on what "single page" refers to.I am aware of their advantages, but how a typical site could be fitted in to a single page?99% of the web sites have multiple sections and pages to cover different topics.Ex: A hospital web site has one section on OP, another on patient self care like fixi...

Adobe Acquires Magento Commerce - Queries AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,Kindly answer the following queries of mine on Adobe acquiring Majento.1. Magento is an object-oriented PHP Framework and AEM is based on Java/J2EE Framework. These two Frameworks are incompatible. From this perspective, how these two products could be integrated?REST based web service calls?2. Integration via REST based web service calls is an already existing option (before this acquisition), I guess. Then, what value add does this acquisition bring towards integration?3. What are all the perc...

Re: Headless AEM Implementation AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Ratna Kumar. This is a very useful link on this subject. So, basically we could use any software for UI and as long as that UI is able to invoke DefaultGetServlet, Headless AEM could be achieved.Ofcourse, we could customize this servlet, if it does not meet our needs. In this case, in the whole of UI, there is no AEM at all. (including the templates). Now, coming back to case#2 in my original query, is that a Headless AEM at all?The UI has AEM templates in the front end.So, I would say, it is...

Headless AEM Implementation AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi all,What exactly is the meaning of Headless AEM Implementation? Often times, clients keep saying this.1. A totally different front end accessing AEM Data store (JCR or so)? In this case, there are no AEM Templates, but AEM Components may be there connecting the new front end with AEM Data store.2. A totally different front end uses AEM Templates, which in turn invokes AEM components, etc.Ex: When we use Angular JS, AEM Templates use this, in place of regular JS.So, in effect, the whole thing ...

Image Fragment and Sub Form Synchronization AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,For my client, the data entry for is huge. The paper based form is filled and scanned. But the form image itself is divided (stripped) in to multiple fragments, say one fragment for personal data section, one for contact section info, etc.Now the actual form is shown in AEM, fragment-wise. This form is based on pure AEM and not AEM Forms. That is, when personal data part of AEM form is displayed for user to edit, its corresponding image fragment is displayed for his reference, alongwith.Similarl...

Re: Why AEM with Angular JS? AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi all,I have a couple of observations on this article:1. The Summary addresses JQuery, while it should be Angular JS.2. Required Skills: Probably JQuery and CSS are not required for this article.3. Dragging and dropping the file from file system to CRXDE did not work for me.I created a file with name angular.js, copied and pasted its content from file system to this file.4. Creating folders "src" and "install" is redundant in this case.I agree that we followed Adobe best practice here.Overall, ...

Why AEM with Angular JS? AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All, I watched the article : Adobe Experience Manager Help | Integrating the AngularJS Framework into Adobe Experience Manager.1. Do you have any architecture diagram to depict this integration?2. In my understanding Angular JS has advanced HTML and JS for the advanced functionality. So, if we want to make any restful web service call, Angular JS can do this easily, in place of AEM, because of this integration. Is this true?3. What are the other advantages of this integration?Appreciate your qu...

AEM Licenses AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi all,As you are all aware, AEM could be used just as a front end to some other tool. Ex: AEM could front end Hybris.AEM could also be used just as a back end, making it headless. How is AEM Licensed? As a number of front ends or number of back ends or not by these two, but by some other parameter like number of Author users?Kindly reply ASAP.Thanks,Rama.

Re: Angular JS for Front Ending AEM Workflows AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Kautuk,Appreciate your quick revert.Let us say we have AEM implemented as a front end as well as back end.It has some workflows implemented. We use Web Console to trigger workflows and Inbox to look at and act on Workflow tasks. Now, let us say, we replace AEM front end with custom UI with Angular JS. Back end is still AEM.My question is how to trigger workflows and how to implement the Inbox AEM Functonality to be able to act on WF tasks. The other post is similar in front end and back end, but...

AEM Underlying Database = MS SQL Server? AEM_Forum - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi all,I am aware that AEM does not function on any RDBMS, as an underlying backend and it has to be a Java Content Repository (JCR) based one.Could you please suggest whether the following is possible with AEM, at least on the latest versions?AEM Database = MS SQL Server.Appreciate a quick reply.Thanks,Rama.
