Hi,1. I am aware that AEM PDF Forms are adaptive and HTML Forms ate HTML 5 compliant.Apart from these two, is there any difference between these two?2. From AEM PDF Forms, we could invoke and consume web services. Is the case same with HTML Forms too?3. Could HTML Forms be rendered as PDF?4. In terms of efforts, is there any difference between these two, given the same requirements?Need to revert to team todayAppreciate your quick replies.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Florent,Appreciate your responses. These are the real pointers I have been looking for.Meanwhile I realized one small additional task in our requirements.Once Adobe Campaign sends out Campaign, it receives the results, as how successful the campaign is.This result needs to be passed back to an external Campaign system to complete the loop.Is it possible to export the campaign result from Adobe Campaign, as a flat file or so?Your response has already put me driver's seat.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Jorg,I do not think that it is a marketing question. It is definitely a technical question.Given a WCM feature, people are tempted to find whether it is supported by a specific WCM tool. For example, MSM. For some one asking what support AEM has for MSM, we could very well explain the whole AEM MSM functionality. My Omni Channel Experience question is also exactly in the same lines. What support AEM has for this? It is not also necessary that all features are supported. In such cases, we advise th...

Hi,I agree that AEM is a Java platform, but it was built as a WCM product. It did not remain as just a plain Java platform. Some functionalities are offered out of box like Multi Site Management.Coming from this perspective, I am trying to find out the requirements of a Web Content Management (WCM) towards this requirement?Being aware that this is an AEM Forum, I am requesting you to suggest how and in what ways does AEM support this ask? Thanks,Rama.

Hi,I came across the following requirement from my client:"Omni-Channel - ability for the Customer’s Customers to start a transaction in one channel, pause and then pick up seamlessly in another."For example, I have moved two items to shopping cart using desktop. For some reason, I log out of desktop, login using the mobile. I should be able to see those two items in the shopping cart and continue from there.Kindly suggest how this functionality could be achieved.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Kautuk,These are really useful pointers, as this is the question we are often faced with.Could we also say that AEM Forms (PDF) are adaptive by default, as one of the advantages? Is there a comprehensive list of enhancements of AEM Forms over out of box Form Component?Appreciate your responses.Thanks,Rama.

Hi,How AEM Authenticates the SOAP/REST Web Services requests?Obviously, the request needs to be authenticated and authorized for all Web Services invocations. Is the authentication done as in the normal AEM access case? Are the users/passwords stored in AEM or in an LDAP?How is authorization done? Using AEM ACLs?Appreciate your responses.Thanks,Rama.

Hi,Thanks for your reply.1. Is there a pictorial representation of this, to help me better understand? Since this knowledge is wide spread, there must be some diagrams somewhere!2. So, in the AEM Mobile Apps (using OnDemand Runtime) topology, we do not need Publish instance at all?3. Given that AEM OnDemand hosted services replaces Publish Server, is the Dispatcher connected to AEM OnDemand hosted services as opposed to Publish?4. App Stores pull app content updates from AEM-PUBLISH or OnDemand ...

Hi all,I am still thinking in the lines of traditional AEM, where author enters the content, and after reviews/approval, it will be pushed to Publish. And it is the Publish that serves data to the outside world. This hold good for Mobile Web also. But for Mobile Apps, we could push from Author to Mobile Apps. is it true? Probably we could push from Publish also. What is the role of Publish server for AEM Mobile Apps? Why is it a deviation for mobile apps?Kindly send me a block diagram which shows aut...

Hi all,We have a project to build websites within AEM that pull data from SAP. The questions client is asking:What is the best gateway to use to extract data from SAP and convert into APIs (SAP gateway is being proposed)Is it possible to develop in AEM using SAP UI5 framework? If so what are the pros and cons?Is it faster + cheaper to develop using SAP UI5 within AEM to connect to this SAP gateway layer or is Angular/extJS better?Kindly suggest.Appreciate all your replies.Thanks,Rama.
