Hi,I am new to AEM Communities and have been trying to learn this topic.Kindly address my following queries.1. Is it necessary to use handlebars for AEM Communities implementation? If so, what extra features does it bring? Pl throw more might on this topic.2. Why should we use Social Component Framework for AEM Communities implementation? What extra features does it bring?3. Hi,Let us take a Survey function in AEM Communities. It is essentially a form by itself. Let us call it Communities Form.My question is how is this form (Communities Form) different from an AEM Form?By AEM Form, I mean the one that has Adaptive Form capabilities, etc.Thanks,Rama.

Hi all,It is exciting to see that this very forum was developed using AEM Communities.I am very curious to know how much of it was out of box and how much customization involved. When I talk about AEM Communities with my client, I would show this forum. What else interests the client more than a live and operational public site and client's first question would be this only.Kindly guide me.Thanks,Rama.

Hi JK,Thanks for replying. My question is a little different.Let us take a Survey function in AEM Communities. It is essentially a form by itself. The query is what is the difference between an AEM Form and the form used in AEM Communities Survey Form. The AEM repository on publish will be the default JSRP?So, if I do not specify any SRP, data will be stored in AEM Repository, but this needs reverse replication. Is my understanding correct?Thanks.,Rama.

Hi all,I am new to Adobe Social and have the following General Queries:SPP does not have Adobe Social videos.1. Is Adobe Social is available only on Cloud or it is available On Premise also?2. What is involved in its installation?Since it is only On Cloud, there is no installation and partners get just login info?3. From the documentation that I read, Adobe Social needs to integrate with only Adobe Analytics out of AMC products. Not able to visualize any business case for integrating with other A...

Hi Pankaj,Please find attached header and footer code for our project. (Not able to attach the zip. Sent to your email). We are not able to apply any custom styles or components like buttons/images to header/footer sections of adaptive form template, when added to the Form Template Editor. As I remarked, for anything in the body of template (other than header and footer) we are able to apply them.Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Pankaj,We already followed this procedure. But this theme is getting applied to Initial Content only and not Header and Footer.Keeping the urgency in mind, kindly arrange a Adobe Connect session ASAP, where we will join and show you the behavior.BTW, we got the header and footer as HTMLs from our UI/UX guy and probably we have to validate our procedure to incorporate them in the template.Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Steve,Thanks for these inputs.I am stuck up at the Forms Template Editor, where I want to apply theme, rather than applying at Form level. This theme should cover header, footer and body content (I mean whole template). But I did not find a way for doing this.On the other hand, I tried to create Form Template in the CRXDE in the old way (not using Template Editor) and apply theme. But here I am aware of only ClientLibs, where I could apply only JS and CSS and not a Theme.I needed to deliver my d...

Hi all,In AEM Forms Template Editor, we see some components populated in the Components button on the left pane. How are they populated? Also, when we filter, we could see some "Adaptive Form Components". How and where are these created? If I create a normal AEM component, will it be visible? I don't think so.We have to drag and drop some of our custom components on to the AEM Forms Template Editor.Kindly guide me to a tutorial on this.Thanks,Rama.

Hi,I am creating Adaptive Form Templates, using Template Editor. Please suggest how to apply styles.I do see a setting "CSS File". But how to make a specific CSS file available to it?Should we store it in a specific path in JCR and mention its full path?If I cant succeed in applying styles, I have to resort to manual way of creating templates, not using Template Editor.Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.

Hi,In my project I have 90 different forms.Could we have a Master template with just header and footer and all Templates are derived out of it?That way, I will have to author header and footer only once and it affects all templates and forms.Typically in implementations how the number of templates is decided? In my case, since all 90 forms are different, except in header and footer, is it reasonable to assume 90 templates?Highly appreciate all your support.Thanks,Rama.

Hi ,There are two types of form fragments requirements in my project:1. Header and Footer: Content authored once, but used in all forms. Not required to be re-authored.2. Common parts of a form: Here it has a set of form elements common in many forms, but content should not replicate. Every form should be presented only those fields with blanks (no values). Ex: Address. How to achieve both the above using a Form Fragment.Appreciate your reply.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Khushwant,Thanks for responding.1. If we are taking the DoR route, we do not need Designer (XDP) or without that also we can achieve PDF Conversion?2. In Verify section also, we have a PDF conversion requirement. Will this necessarily require XDP?3. In the Submit options, we have a "Convert To PDF and Store" option. Will this necessarily require XDP and this option itself will not appear without we selecting XDP in the model?Appreciate your response.Thanks,Rama.

Hi Rishi,You mentioned "AEM Forms follow similar notion of creating templates as done in AEM Sites.".In AEM, if the template has iParsys, if I author header & footer to a page at a folder level, all the child pages underneath that page inherit those header and footer. But in Forms, where is the concept of parent page, iParsys, child page and all child forms inheriting all iParsys elements from parent? Thanks,Rama.

Hi Steve,Thanks for responding quickly. As long as this is just a drag and drop, Marketing people (Forms authors) will be able to do.I did JS coding, probably wrongly, to hide and show radio button panels and to hide all of them on loading. But what is the application of Code Editor in Rules Editor? When do we use it?In those cases, how do we ask Marketing people to code? Thanks,Rama.
