Hi Lee,I have the Decoder problem about the special characters solved, I only had to open the files of the scanresult (the txt-files) with Notepad instead of Wordpad.The Hand-scanner issue is not yet solved, but I have support request with the manufacturar about the correct settings for this scanner.Thanks a lot for your awnsers.RonnyR

Hi,I have again a problem with the use of Barcoded forms.The problem I have now is that Barcoded forms that are filled with Reader 8.X or Acrobat 8.x are not being decoded by the Barcoded Forms Decoder software, I have the 7.0 version installed. It is like the Decoder does not recognize that the barcodes are filled, when u drop an empty form in the input-folder the Decoder acts the same, it deletes the form from the input-folder but generates no output. This only occurs when I try to get the pdf...

Thanks for your awnser,I am going to contact the supplier of the handscanner for further details about configuring the handscanner. But there still is the problem that the Barcoded Forms Decoder 7.0 software does not decode my forms properly. It has the same problem with special characters. Hi,I am trying to decode barcodes that have text with special character in it, like à, é, ö,... . But the decoder does not decode them correctly, the same problem when I use a hand held scanner. Hand-scanner and Barcoded Forms decoder are set with Belgian keyboard settings language="nl" country="be".So I figger the problem is that the data is being encoded differently in to the barcode. Hi,Thanks for your sample. I have been able to get a drop-downlist filled but also with a work-around using a textfield to comunucate with the barcode-data. Is there a way to add the label of the barcode to the barcode with javascript I would like to add this to your script to be able to use something like your sample with multiple barcodes?Thanks in advance.

Hi Lee,I do have one little problem left with repopulating my form. All data is populated correctly accept for a Drop-Down-List. Is there something special about it? And when I scan into a texteditor all data is shown correctly.Thanks in advance,

I have been able to do this with a very simple form with two textfields and a barcode. But I need to do the same with an large document of >10 pages with +- 8 barcodes on it that each cover an part of the form. The form also has dynamic content.Grz,
