Hi @vivianseba , Some of these rules can still be bypassed by putting multiple slashes in the URL. As per Adobe documentation: In Dispatcher versions later than 4.2.0, you can include POSIX Extended Regular Expressions in your filter patterns. You might want to try something similar to the below rule (This takes care of the URL part. You can add extension if needed):{ /type "deny" /url '([/]+bin[/]+querybuilder(.*))' } As rightly mentioned earlier, a higher number in dispatcher doesn't mean high...

Hello Gurus, I am working on decentralising adobe target development to all the teams in the organisation. For this we are doing multiple things. 1. Moving Adobe target activity development into a version control SCM2. Creating a fail-safe development life cycle3. Creating a chatOps/ event based notification tool for better collaboration. For 1, we have created something similar to what is mentioned in https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-target-questions/implement-a-version-co...

Is this for only Publish instance or for Author as well ?As for author, crx/de redirects to the default login page but for publish it doesn't.

Contrary to my comment last May, I've got some more up-to-date info that AEM Communities has no plans for support in AEM as a Cloud Service (see: What’s the Future of AEM Communities? – OpsInventor). So, if you're looking to do communities, your only bets are to either (a) design your own bespoke solution or (b) stay on the on-premise AEM 6.5 for the time being. @Arun_Patidar @Nirmal_Jose

Hello again, @Nupur_Jain, thanks for your original reply. It helped me greatly. Now, however, I've run into a new situation: I want to be able to have the clientlib available in AEM's "View as Published" mode, which appends "wcmmode=disabled" to the end of the authoring URL. I thought I could test for "wcmmode.disabled = 'true'" but it turns out that when you publish the page, the value for wcmmode.disabled is also true, and so the clientlib is getting included and published along with the page....

I don't get it. Suddenly http://localhost:4502/system/granite/license/index.html resolves. It took me to the licensing form where I had to re-enter my name and key. I need to create a quick guide for myself on how to get AEM up and running in Docker.

Yes, indeed. Whatever we do, we need to create repeatable infrastructure as much as possible. Backup and restore can be as simple as a crx-quickstart folder zipped and copied over OR if a cloud infrastructure in AWS, use a snapshot of the ec2 instance. Using replication, there are various other scenarios like a) JCR properties/status show related to replication will be shown incorrect are not relevant. b) Unless published, we won't see the content

Adobe offers various types of AEM certifications for developers, architects, business practitioners, and more. Becoming an AEM Certified Developer helps you gain knowledge of most of the features offered by AEM. Because we all know that AEM is a powerful tool with a large number of features. As a developer, you may not be able to work on all aspects of AEM. As you prepare for Adobe AD0-E103 Exam AEM certification, you will find many AEM opportunities you never imagined before. Finally, on the wa...

Additional to what @BrianKasingli mentioned, if you use the latest maven archetype with ui.frontend module, you can take a look at dynamic loading implementation as mentioned in [1] [1] - https://www.initialyze.com/blog/2020/11/how-to-use-dynamic-imports-with-adobe-aem/

Hi @muraliv34412056 , can you please be more clear on the query? are you wanting to move the AEM instances or AWS instances? Documentation: For case 1:It is just another cloud infrastructure. All you need to do is copy the AEM instance from existing AWS to GCP. Also do not forget to get a GCP expert.FYI: https://cloud.google.com/vision/docsFor case 2: https://cloud.google.com/migrate/compute-engine/docs/4.8/how-to/migrate-aws-to-gcp/migrating-aws-vms Thanks,Kiran Vedantam.

There is no OOTB functionality to integrate Sketch to AEM. What Adobe has done with XD is to provide a UI toolkit for Adobe core components and style them as you need. Refer design kit section at [1] If you want to make it much more automated, you can do an integration like Adobe XD -> Storybook -> AEM. You can refer more at [2] [1] - https://github.com/adobe/aem-core-wcm-components[2] - https://hoodoo.digital/adobe-xd-storybook-aem

they did changed a lot in the package structure. with the new filevault Version 1.1.4 it's really hard to get the build success. I'm still searching for a package where to put the config for /etc/map. I know in CRX has nothing changed, but in the Code (IDE) with all the new packages structure and depedencies, it's a different story. Heres a Link that describes what should be in the different packages, but they missed to tell where to put "/etc/map"https://wcm-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WCMIO/p...

I am developing a list components and want to give provision to author on couple options to show list as a) Grid option b) Carousel c) Horizontal So do we have some OOB AEM options (classes/functions) to achieve this.
