Report API: what controls the columns presented on the report? - Workfront 06-08-2020
So on the reports, we add columns of data as needed, eg name, custom form parameter etc. I want to be able to change the columns of the report by API, eg instead of name, custom form parameter, that report should now contain, ID, custom form parameter. What is the call that allows me to change this?

LOL. I should've been more persistent and just try to get it out by typing fields=definition... I had been too trusting with the *. Thanks @Doug Den Hoed‚ for the advice and the laugh.

Hi @Doug Den Hoed‚ , I did use the filterID to get what filter data I can get through the API. Here's an example of all fields of what I've picked from the specific filterID. I'm not seeing definition when I try &fields=* on the browser to check. API Report filter - Workfront 06-07-2020
Hello. I've quickly skimmed the community to see if there's already a similar question to mine and didn't find any. I have a few reports with a filtered date. I want to be able to change those dates via API. The reports have a filterID, so I get to the filter but there's nothing there that refers to the content of the filter. Any idea how I can change filter dates for reports via API?

API $$LIMIT should be unlimited or set higher - Workfront 12-05-2020
The max $$LIMIT on API results is 2000. This should be higher, unlimited or set to the next set of results. Currently, assumption is that your query is less than or equal to 2000 results but as you build your data over time, the time values add to your query results. I had to break down my queries to 3 with regards to time and hoping that none of the queries will get over 2000. We are not getting accurate results once those queries go over 2000 results.

@Anthony Imgrund‚ , have you sent this to support? What is their response? Apparently, this is now going to be the default behavior! I'm not sure it was announced anywhere. After reaching out internally regarding this they let me know that this currently is expected behavior within NWE, that they intentionally changed charts colors to all one color. Hi @Anthony Imgrund‚ , I see this only on the bar graphs I've already created hence I was perplexed as to I don't recall seeing them in one color - this only applies to bar graphs though, my pie charts still show multicolor. It is just weird. I will definitely report this as a bug. Regards.

Looks like I've forgotten there's a new site and have sent my original post on the original community - I hope it doesn't get duplicated here. Anyway, I'm not sure if it's just me or my instance but my charts are now just a single color. I've checked my chart settings and there's no way they should be one color. I'm NWE user. I'm assuming not a lot are seeing this issue as the people who set up the teams are administrators (or your consulting Workfront partners) and so you would not really see the effects. I've added the user back as a team member. And most of the functionality is back. Some she says, she can't do but she'll do a reboot later just in case things are cached. A user sharing our instance and who we help administratively is having an issue where her team is assigned to a task and she said it is appearing she's no longer part of the team overnight. To troubleshoot, I logged in as her and went to the task where her team was assigned (manage access was given to the team on the task).
