  • Thanks SteveX for the quick response. I was able to save and open the CalcAverage.pdf but when I went to test it in PDF View it hung. I also found when I brought the code in my PDF it also hung when I tried to test it.Did I miss some hidden code somewhere?

All kidding aside... as a relative newbie to Designer I certainly appreciate the time and knowledge you and the other mentors p...

For instance I created a subform by right-clicking a text field in the Hierarchy list and selecting "Wrap in subform". Now when I click on the...

  • I too would like to be able to set the global font to our corporate standards of Arial and Times New Roman. But I don't think it will happen too quickly! Therefore I came up with a workaround! I created a number of objects with all the specs I wanted, and then saved as custom objects in the Library.F...

Learning two new languages is extremely frustrating without resources. Please add a LOT MORE how-to examples along with Formcalc & JavaScript codes for basic to advanced functions. Also the how-to examples should include all the secondary/buried (e.g. those found in Fo...

  • Well is my face RED! I've been making the pattern change to the "Edit Pattern" value thinking it was there to update the standard formats offered in the "Display Pattern" value. I didn't realize you could change the "Display pattern" value itself! What a waste of time for something so simple. C...

  • Thanks for responding Sanna. Following your suggestion, I created a subform called "Requisition" with the presence property of hidden. This subform is physically located on a second page (which I can't seem to hide either!).If the user clicks on the checkbox field "DecisionYes" then this subform sho...

  • Major apologies. I didn't explain what I wanted clearly enough. I'll attempt it again. In a form of 50 fields, 49 fields should be cleared when the RESET button is clicked. The 50th field should be excluded from the reset action.
