thanks jon, this is a really elegant solution! Sure, we keep in mind that this bug (hopefully) will be fixed in on of the next LC releases and we are able to remove this temporary solution.greez simon

Re: Erroe while invoking a process (could not validate SAML) - Adobe LiveCycle 12-11-2009
This happens due to expiry of the SAML assertion that the client has. Have a look at the Renew Assertion Recipe at the cookbook site

Re: Using NTLM authentication with LC WebService component - Adobe LiveCycle 09-11-2009
No, we already tried that -- but when we did, a look inside the server.log file revealed that LC was trying to construct an URL like http://domain\user:password@host ... etc. which, of course, didn't work. So it seems like only plain-text authentication is possible So it looks like we're stuck ...

Re: SSO & OpenLDAP - Adobe LiveCycle 05-11-2009
SPNEGO based SSO would only work with Microsoft Active Directory and not with any other directory server like LDAP. With OpenLDAP you would have to rely on username/password based authenticationThe Header based SSO requires a Third Party Security Product like Netigrity which handles the SSO.

Re: Kerberos SSO - working in Windows but failed in unix - Adobe LiveCycle 20-11-2009
I belive you are using websphere. The installations docs mention that you need to set some property in Websphere so that it does not add s=certain HTTP headers which cause that issueLook for CookiesConfigureNoCache in admin_guide.pdfHave you done that

Re: Unlocking a user account - Adobe LiveCycle 04-09-2009
Chetan - Thank you for replying. However, this doesn't seem to happen as the same user tried the next morning and she still got the invalid username or password error.I am wondering if what I noticed in the db was also true ? The strange part is that she can login to all the windows application that need windows authentication.Do you know of any other way ?ThanksAditya

Re: Query MS Access Database - Adobe LiveCycle 02-09-2009
OK I solved this. This was only happening on the Win2K3 server - not on my local dev instanceOn the server I set the JBoss service to run under the local admin account (in the Services Panel) - after a service restart the jdbc odbc connection worked fine. It must have been some permissions with the system account
