Problem invoking short-lived processes involving Document object - Adobe LiveCycle 05-03-2013
I have two LiveCycle instances on two different server environments(Dev and Test). I have a few common short-lived processes and forms. All these processes involve Document objects. These processes run fine on one environment(Dev) and have problem in the other(Test) for the same input parameters. Input parameters are Document(PDF) objects. I see this error when I invoke a process which has RenderPDFForm activitity in Test environment.java.lang.IllegalStateException: [com.arjuna.ats.internal.jta....

Document.passivate() giving problem in the server environment - Adobe LiveCycle 05-04-2012
I am having two J2EE web applications accessing PDF forms using LiveCycle API. They both are invoking a short-lived process with RenderPDFForm service that takes form and formdata and renders a PDF form. The code where these applications communicate with Livecycle server is same for both the apps. The applications work fine in the local environment. But in the server environment, one of them work and the other fails with security certificate exception. These applications are deployed to the same...

Problem with RepositoryClient - Adobe LiveCycle 08-09-2011
I have a PDF form that I copied/wrote to LiveCycle server folder using RepositoryClient API (writeResource) from my local system. The Write operation was successful. How do I see this PDF form from the workbench ? Another thing I notice is that when I list the members of the folder where I am writing the re...

I want to know if it is possible to add buttonscript to a PDF Form at run time. Run time is when the Form is opened/rendered using a short-lived process with RenderPDFForm service. My buttonscript is in Javascript. Forms are designed using Form Designer 8.2. Thanks,Jyothi

ExportData service generates XML with xfdf tags - Adobe LiveCycle 17-02-2011
I have a short-lived process to export PDF form data into XML file. This process is generating XML file with tags for the fields in the PDF which is good and serves my purpose. But the process is also generating two tags in the XML called xdf:field and FSTEMPLATE. I am thinking these are metadata information of the PDF which are not required for me when I need to render the PDF form with its data. Besides, these meta data fields are really huge and taking up space. Is there a way I can specify ei...

PDF form with buttons opens up URL with security warning window - Adobe LiveCycle 15-02-2011
I have a short-lived process that renders PDF form with data merged. The data is in XML format. The form buttons are assigned URL values when the form is opened. When I click on them,I get a Security warning prompting me to allow/block that site. When I click on 'Allow', I get a window of download statistics of the website that in the URL. This would be annoying to the end user. How I do I suppress the Security warning window as well as the download statistics window before the PDF is opened ? C...
