Yes, you still need a DB even if we choose the GDS option. AEM Forms on JEE uses DB to store data related to user management, process management, and other information. You won't be able to login to /adminui and user-related services without a database. Regards,Khushwant Singh

HiAcrobat DC is not available for Linux. On Linux, AEM Forms PDFG Generator uses native libraries and OpenOffice to convert supported formats to PDF documents. To configure AEM Forms PDFG on Linux, follow all the steps mentioned in the document except installing Acrobat DC. The step to install Acrobat DC is only for Microsoft Windows. Yes, you can use the processes created for LiveCycle on AEM Forms on JEE.If you are already using AEM Forms on OSGi, then you also use AEM-LiveCycle Connector. The connector is to establish a connection between AEM Form on OSGi and AEM Forms on JEE / LiveCycle server. You will be able to run LiveCycle processes along with existing OSGi server. You are correct. Process management requires AEM Forms on JEE server.Regarding Forms Designer, it works independently of AEM Forms on JEE /OSGi. Forms Designer is required to create XSD files. From the installation screen that you have shared, it looks like you are running AEM Forms on JEE.AEM Forms on JEE requires an application server. If you perform turnkey installation, it uses pre-configured JBoss application server.
