I believe the missing icon would is just another effect of the device not being provisioned. If the device were provisioned the icon would appear once the app is installed.

Hmm, this is mysterious. This is a total guess as to what the problem might be, but do you have a previous version of the app on your device as well? Specifically, a released version that you got from the app store. If so, I would try removing that app, then trying to install the new DPS 2015 app from Xcode or iTunes.

The only other thing I can think of is that the app was signed with a store distribution provision, and not a development certificate or ad-hoc distribution certificate.Sometimes with iOS I also restart the device to try and fix up weird installation issues. It can't hurt to try that as well.

The IPA file is the application that you install on your iOS device. You can drag it into iTunes, then attach your device and sync.

Hi Espen, thanks for the feedback. Note that the new DPS 2015 viewers take user into the article view right after tapping to view it, even if it hasn't been downloaded from the service, compared to the existing DPS product, which blocks access until some subset of articles have been fully downloaded to the device.We have been making some performance and usability improvements to more effectively communicate progress to end users so it doesn't feel slower, and are also evaluating the explicit dow...

I'm not really sure why this would happen. What is the status of the article in the web portal? Does it should "Published"? If you remove the app and install it again can you view it, or will it always fail to load?
