Re: Change XML Data Order? - Adobe LiveCycle 12-04-2011
Figured it out. You veterans will probably laugh, but I don't do a lot of this. I found a pallette called "Binding" and noticed a list of the fields there. Two were missing and they happened to be the ones that were out of order. I compared them to the ones that were there and the missing ones were marked global while the others were marked normal. I changed those two to normal, they showed up in the binding pallatte in the right order and my test worked just fine.As usual, thanks to all.

Re: Change XML Data Order? - Adobe LiveCycle 11-04-2011
That was my intuitive assumption as well. When the tab order didn't change the output, I changed the hierarchy view but that didn't change the output either.

Re: Change XML Data Order? - Adobe LiveCycle 10-04-2011
I have not and don't know what it is. If one exists it's because it was automatically created.BTW, I'm not going to do anything with the results in an automated way. The info from the form will be the basis for an order that must be filled out by hand elsewhere. It's just that if the data is emailed to me in a specific order, it will make completeing this other order process easier and more intuitive.

Change XML Data Order? - Adobe LiveCycle 09-04-2011
Emailed XML data is not in the order on the form. I changed tab order but XML order remains changed. Where do I go to change order that XML appears?

Re: Auto Convert Doesn't Do the Check Boxes - Adobe LiveCycle 24-01-2007
Additional three thoughts: First, is there anything I can do while still in MS Word to enable Acrobat to see the check boxes easier? Different font? Same font, but different "character"? Etc. Second, if there is no way the check boxes can be recognized and converted, is there a way to do an after-the-fact search-and-replace, searching for the check boxes and replacing them with clickable boxes. By the way, I don't need to capture data; I just need for people to be able to fill out the form on th...

Auto Convert Doesn't Do the Check Boxes - Adobe LiveCycle 24-01-2007
I created a document in Word, created a PDF from it and am turning it into a form. The form only consists of lines and check boxes. The check boxes are square and begin blank. I want the user to put an x or a check (I don't care) in them as necessary.I used the automatic convert and it created fields where there were lines perfectly. But it ignored all the check boxes. Isn't there a way for it to automatically convert them too?
