Steve is correct .....but there is one last option. If all you wantt o do is save the form locally there is an option in Acrobat to Reader Extend the form for local save. This option restricts your distribution of the form to 500 users. Under the Advanced menu there is a Extend Features in Adobe Reader option.Paul

You will be able to hide the menus as Niall has pointed out .....but the user can hit key combinations or change Acrobat settings to bring them back. Also the user can hit key combinations to achieve the functions that you are trying to stop (i.e. Ctrl-p to Print, Ctrl-S to save). Thats why the pre and post submit. print etc events were created. Those events can be used to accomplish what you are trying to do with the buttons even though they are hitting differnt menu items to get there.Make sen...

I am assuming that you are using LC Server to construct the Web Service call. I simply retieve the image from the file system or repository (depending on where you stored it) and either of those services creates a document object. Then in a setValue operation you can assign the document object to a string variable that is marked as output. In that assignment you can use the Document functions that are provided and one of them converts the doc to a Base64 encoded string.Thats all there is to it.P...

There is a Windows standard shortcut for copy and paste that if you hold the Ctrl key and select and do not release the mouse before selecting the next object (so you drag what you already selected) it will act as a copy and paste what you have already selected. Drives me crazy but that is working as advertised. Same thing happens in native Windows (try it on your desktop) and you will see the same behaviour.Paul

Can you elaborate as to the steps you take to cause the crash.Your issue is displaying the symptoms of the profile being corrupted. Thats what we did to fix your issue .(deleted the corrupted profile) ...when we looked for the INI earlier I am wondering if you did not have the viewing options on to view an INI file hence the file cou...

By default subforms are set to flow top to bottom. You can change it to flow Western Text (left to right). That setting is on the subform objects Subform tab and it is called flow direction (of course it will only appear on flowed subforms).paul

Sorry I didn't see that the results were coming from another WS call. You will have to load the data into the Datadom then parse from there. The code can be a little complicated, if you send the form and some sample XML from the 2nd WS call I will see if I can get it to work for you.You can send it to LiveCycle8@gmail.comInclude a brief descritpion of the issue please.Paul

Make sure that you click the Repeat Subform for each data item on the binding tab for the subforms that represent repeating rows. This will cause a [*] to be appended to the repeating nodes in the binding expression.Paul
