I've quite often applied a segment and then wanted to compare Key metrics or events between two date ranges at a top level. Currently Workaround is to look at a report where only one value recorded or use ReportBuilder.

At present I believe there are a number of permissions that have dependencies on other permissions eg. ONLY enabling 'Real Time' under Advanced Reporting Access won't grant access to the Real Time report(s), as an Admin user you have to then second guess the dependencies .. which I haven't yet worke...

Dan, Have you tried comparing New/Repeat segments based on built in visits no. vs getNewRepeat ? I'm seeing odd differences (using discover) suggesting the latter is not accurate (similar finding with other plugins too when compared to equivilant built in metrics )
