Re: Few questions about my app - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 09-11-2016
For mapping cards, see this article and video: Create cards and layouts in AEM Mobile appsFonts are not supported in the AEM Preflight app. Instead, build a custom preflight app.For the dynamic banner, is your AEM Preflight app updated? If you're using an older version, it won't work. For the cover page, it really depends on how much work you want to do. If you want different content for phones and tablets, you can create a project with two top levels, and specify different content for phones and...

Re: Preflight update failure - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 07-11-2016
While there have been a couple of minor outages for short periods of time since the last release, you should be able to preflight. There might be a problem with your project. Contact Adobe Support.

Re: Custom Fonts Display in Layouts but not in Development APP - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 01-11-2016
Hi Christopher,You need to sign in to the Portal (https://aemmobile.adobe.com), go to the Apps section, and rebuild your app. When you add that app to your device, you'll be able to see custom fonts.Bob

Re: Preflight update failure - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 01-11-2016
I would guess the preflight problem you're experiencing is related to today's release. The release isn't supposed to affect preflight, but this seems like an exception. Preflight should work fine in a few hours. Let us know if you're still experiencing problems.

Re: Simulator in AEM Mobile developer tools failing with iOS 10 - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 24-10-2016
Hi Matthias,Here's what I heard from a developer:The user has upgraded to Xcode 8. Since our methods to suppress code signing in Xcode 7 don’t work in Xcode 8, the tool is trying to sign the framework. As a result, the Team ID field is required, but the tool doesn’t currently have a way to deal with it.One (verified) workaround is to use xcode-select [0] to change back to an installation of Xcode 7.x [1].Another (unverified) workaround is to open /platforms/ios/CordovaPlugins.xcodeproj in Xcode ...

Re: Hyperlink to completely hidden articles - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 19-10-2016
Hi Mattias,Glad you got the orphaned collection technique to work.Regarding search, yes, the orphan articles will still show up. I tested this. (A workaround is to use blank or nonsense metadata for those articles to avoid search hits.)Bob

Re: Hyperlink to completely hidden articles - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 19-10-2016
Hi Mattias,I tested this a few months ago. If I recall, an article must be part of a collection in order to work properly—this might be a bug—but I don't think that collection needs to be part of the app structure.Try adding the article to a published collection, but don't add the collection to your structure. That way, users can't swipe to it, and you should be able to link to the article.Let us know if that works.-Bob

Re: how to check which version of the AEM Mobile Patch is installed on a PC - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile 19-10-2016
Can you post a screen shot of the panel? With InDesign CC 2014, the DPS/AEM Mobile tools are built into InDesign. The only way to uninstall them is to uninstall InDesign.

You need to add the article to a collection. If you select the "Hide from Browse Page" option in article properties, do you get the results you want?
