Re: Adding field values in multiple rows in a dynamic table - Adobe LiveCycle 10-01-2012
Hi Niall,Thank you once again! Now, all sample codes I've seen dealing with this looping use JavaScript. Is it possible to do the same with FormCalc?Reason: the fields that must be added are time fields and it is a lot easier to work with FC than JS with those guys.Marcos

Adding field values in multiple rows in a dynamic table - Adobe LiveCycle 09-01-2012
Hello!I build this form (a timesheet) where I have a dynamic table with variable number of rows (I'm adding instances with a click on a button). All rows contain a totalLinhaRelatorio field, this is a time field, and I need all such fields to be added to get a final total. So I tried these two script lines (FormCalc):var finalTotal = sum(Time2Num(parteInferior.atividades.tabelaAtividades.linhaAtividade[*].totalLinhaRelatorio[*],"HH:MM"))$.formattedValue = Num2Time(finalTotal, "HH:MM")It doesn´t wo...

FormCalc - How to calculate difference between two datetime fields in HH:MM ? - Adobe LiveCycle 09-01-2012
Hello!I'm building a timesheet form in which I need to calculate the difference between start and end times and present the result.I'm trying to do this with FormCalc but if it is easier with JS it's ok too.So this is what I did on the total field, using the calculate event on a NUMERIC field called decimalValue: elapsed = Time2Num(endTime.formattedValue, "HH:MM") - Time2Num(startTime.formattedValue, "HH:MM") And then I tried to convert into a time field: total = decimalValue.rawValue; $.formatt...

Time calculations with FormCalc - Adobe LiveCycle 23-12-2011
Hello!I'm trying to create a simple timesheet form in Designer but things don't seem to work the way I expected.I have two Time fields where users are supposed to inform start and end times for a task. A third time field should display the elapsed time.So I tried to solve this with FormCalc:var interval = 0interval = Time2Num(endTime.formattedValue, "HH:MM") - Time2Num(startTime.formattedValue, "HH:MM")$.formattedValue = Num2Time(interval, "HH:MM")It doesn't work. I mean, if I inform startTime =...

Hovering button on all form pages - Adobe LiveCycle 20-12-2011
A client has upgraded from JetForms to LiveCycle and is missing some of the old platform features. One of them is the possibility of duplicating a form page with just a click on a button. I solved this with Page.instanceManager.addInstance(1);However, to use this approach in a PDF form it is necessary to place the button on the form itself. Many of the client's form layouts are already cluttered and they would rather not change anything. They ask me for a solution where this button could be placed...
