Re: drop down menu validates value in field - Adobe LiveCycle 19-02-2013
I don't know what you are asking. A common trip up with the change event though is that you need to use xfa.event.newText to get the new value since rawValue doesn't change until after the event is over.

Re: looking at pdf doc on how to create a watched folder - Adobe LiveCycle 19-02-2013
lca is LiveCycle Archive. In a browser, got to {your server}/adminui and log in. Services > Applications and Services > Application Management, Import, select the lca

Re: Help making subform expand to next/new page - Adobe LiveCycle 19-02-2013
Text Field should allow multiple lines. Height should have exapnd to fit. Row and table should have height expand to fit. Table should have Allow page breaks within Content as well as the subform it is in and up the heirarchy. This is assuming each row is small enough that they should not split. Otherwise, Allow page breaks within Content needs to be on the Row too.

Re: Is it possible to dynamically assign users to a Userlist? - Adobe LiveCycle 15-02-2013
I use List of sub type User. The previous user step gets a list of user IDs. I loop through that and and do a Find User to get the User object and put in the List.Find User input[Login ID], String from form submission:/process_data/formData/Formdata/Approvers/Approver[number(/process_data/@counter)]/approverIDFind User output[user]:/process_data/approverList[/process_data/@counter]

Re: Disable/Enable Subform - Adobe LiveCycle 15-02-2013
I don't follow everything you said, but you have to disable individual subform elements.function setReadOnly(myParentObject){ var allChildElements; var intNumElements; var currentElement; var j; //Get all the child nodes of the parent element allChildElements = myParentObject.nodes; //Total number of element in the object intNumElements = allChildElements.length; //Loop through all the child elements for(j = 0; j < intNumElements; j++){ currentElement = allChildElements.item(j); //If the element...

Re: How does row table allow to expand on following pages? - Adobe LiveCycle 15-02-2013
I haven't used a table in that way. I have a similar setup that I created before realizing I could use table where I used individual fields in a repeating subform. It works properly spanning pages. If your issue really is a bug, switching to individual fields in a subform may be a work around.I was going to download your file to look at the the setup, but you didn't allow download in the Google docs security.

I don't know why I was thinking this was on the process side.
