One workaround you could do:Using the gesture API, you can disable all gestures, and listen for the swipe yourself. Then stop the video, then hand it back to DPS to let the article change happen.Last time i tried using the gesture api like this for swiping, though, it introduced some weird content refresh behavior. jerwarren,yeah, this one is a bit odd and beyond me i'm afraid. the templates and depend files are all housed on the client's (our) hosting service so i assume it makes a request to either the adobe or studio mercury servers and expects some sort of reply that never comes... Possibly looking for updates... we had an "issue" open on studio mercury's gethub site for about a month with no response or action as far as i could tell.

issue has resolved itself. for clarification, after more trouble shooting, i found the following:1. this was not preflight specific, though it was there as well (also in our test app.)2. new content would not download to a device unless it was added to a new collection.3. once content had download for the new collection, it was available on the old collection as well.conclusion: seems as though the mechanism to push updated articles was having an issue.
