Re: First Party Cookie Data Capture - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Thanks for throwing some more light on the challenge in hand All right, here is what we can try, what I understand from given description is that, the value is getting captured fine in prop variables but not in the eVar variables. In this case, I would suspect that it is happening due to the Expiration setting being incorrect for the eVar. It can be edited from the Admin section of the Adobe Analytics for the Report suite of our interest. Lets give it a shot and do let me know the results Hope t...

Re: I need some help on figuring out how SiteCatalyst collects data about Client-side "Login" data. - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Dhru,The cookie (s_tagEnv) mentioned in your code snippet is of Adobe Tag Manager(ATM) which is used ONLY to identify the environment of the Tag Container to be used (dev/stage/prod). It is primarily used to identify and access the appropriate Tag Container. The latter half of the code snippet is certainly just a Data Layer and the element defined in the Data Layer alone will not do any good to identify User Login status. One has to write a code to identify and store user status in this data l...

Re: debugger in IE - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Jeff,With IE, I would suggest to use other debuggers/packet sniffers like , Fiddler or Charles. Charles in my personal preference for some of its amazing features which can come really handy at the time of troubleshooting with your Adobe Analytics implementation.Hope this helps !Regards,Harsh Kabra | Adobe Certified Expert: Digital Analytics® & SiteCatalyst Implementation & Reporting®

Re: function s.t() returns undefined. - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Pradeep,I would suspect that the following:1. First, check if s_code has loaded on the page or not.2. If the s_code is present on the page load, then I would suspect that the s_code is throwing some JS error which can make 's' variables 'Undefined'. Please check for any JS error which might block this.Hope this helps.Regards,Harsh Kabra | Adobe Certified Expert: Digital Analytics® & SiteCatalyst Implementation & Reporting®

Re: Campaign tracking with mutiple ? in url - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Pawel,Before I answer your question, it is important to understand how Adobe Analytics capture the campaign tracking code. In Adobe Analytics, Campaign tracking is handled by a plug-in called "getQueryParam". I believe that you have already configured this plugin with "s_cid" to track your campaign tracking code. Now to answer your question, the solution lies in the way java script reads a query String Parameter (QSP). In case of multiple QSP, I don't see any challenge in using the "&" instead...

Re: User demographics and time spent on site - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi PP,Let me try my best to answer your questions below:Answer1: There are a few ways in which you can get User Demographics data in SiteCatalyst but there is always a thin line between a visitor demographics data and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). As per the official notification from AdobePress, "All analytics information is based on anonymous aggregation and Adobe SiteCatalyst does not endorse storage of PII". you can That being said, we do have Visito demographics which lets us i...
