@johannesw114391 Since I am unable to see the full order of your Marketing Channel layout, I cannot completely prescribe what issue may be happening. Remember that Marketing Channel rules are executed in the order they appear, which means something else could be affecting your outcome. Also, just a reminder that anything you review must be as of the date you implemented your rules, because they are not retroactive like Classification rules. I'm just covering my bases here, because I don't like m...

@dinesh_kumar_r Being the type who doesn't make assumptions, can you provide the exact rule you used? I'm asking just because everyone approaches problems differently, and this may feel like a super-simple approach. The Regex I would start off using, based on what you stated in your question would be.^(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)\:(.*)$I escaped the colons simply out of caution, but I would expect this to work. The only other thing I would validate is the format of t...

@_bel_ /@Andrey_Osadchuk ,If memory serves me correctly, when you go to the Workspace page, if Workspace is not set has your default landing page, there is a link the user may select to set it as their default landing page. You could also create a standard placeholder "report" in Workspace and set it as the landing page for your users by assigning them all to the same Product Profile. Simply enter and select the Product Profile into the permission you wish for them to have - Can Edit/Can Duplicc...

Beyond filtering for explicit values, has anyone figured out how to efficiently filter out foreign language values (i.e., non alpha-numeric) from their results?Example:

To echo @Khurshid_Alam's reply containing a typo, there is NO negative effect. 🙂You also have the ability, if you want, to send this parameter's value to a separate variable for analysis independent of other tracking codes. I have seen this done and even set up internal campaign tracking codes to avoid cluttering up my external campaign trackingJust remember, if you decide to do it, to configure your other variable the same as your campaign tracking variable. For instance, if your tracking code...

I see this came up near the top of the feed again. I HIGHLY recommend doing this if you have used Adobe Analytics for any length of time. As a regular user of the tool, this is your opportunity to provide valuable insights and feedback to Adobe. If you haven't done it already, you really should check it out!

@Andrey_Osadchuk I am very much in agreement there. I figured start with one and then hopefully the ability would branch out since performing this function with a segment would likely be carried over into those components as well.

@yuhuisg That's a fascinating problem. I would highly recommend speaking to your TAM or contacting support to see why it's not working correctly. That sounds like a legitimate technical problem that needs to be evaluated. Hope they can help you figure that out.

Description - With as much as I work with a segment used multiple times throughout a Workspace report, it would be very helpful to have the ability to select that Segment and choose a different segment to replace it with, and then have the ability to choose to replace it everywhere else in my Workspace report. Why is this feature important to you - The amount of time I currently have to spend moving through a large report and replacing every instance of a segment I used is very time consuming, an...

@yuhuisg,I believe I am a bit confused by your ask. I have personally done this successfully in Adobe. In our interface for Classification rules, the nested classification shows as a choice in the drop-down with the primary value followed by the caret and then the nested value.Using your example: Classification B^Classification B1. As a result, you would have a minimum of five rules to manage your Classification.I have already seen this done successfully on more than one variable in AA. Our exam...

Hi @dinesh_kumar_r Grand Total is typically the sum total of all captured for that event vs. showing the sum of the rows currently displayed on the screen. Think of it as being similar to having your total using the All Visits segment vs. a sub-total based on a segment you set up specifically for just that set of data.

@carlosvelarde Per Adobe, "Data collected with these rules are 100% permanent, and rules altered after data is collected is not retroactive."https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/marketing-channels/c-rules.html?lang=en#prerequisites See "Additional notes about processing:", the first bullet.

@luekl You seem to have the same timing as I do.Just today, I again had a product manager come to me and verify that we could not get the # of units for a specific product or the avg # of units for a specific product in an eComm order, and I had to tell them, "yes, that is correct."Why? Because Adobe Analytics doesn't provide the ability to segment Orders at the sub-hit level.Yes, I know that's crazy.Yes, I know that should be a fundamental capability to understand Order details. When will it be ...

@jen_lasser I'm in agreement with @luekl. I was having a discussion with my manager just the other day, and I currently can't even run a simple eComm report to view of the units from a specific subset of products in my orders from December.I can create a segment to see the orders using the products, but if I try to see the units, I get ALL of the units from the orders, no matter what, because you can't create a segment at the sub-hit level.Until this is done, any and all analysis has to happen o...

@jantzen_belliston-Adobe,Unfortunately, there is no satisfying "correct" reply that can be applied to this one, because this is a problem that cannot be fixed in the current way that Adobe Analytics currently behaves. I played with this for more than an afternoon using all of the suggestions and was unable to produce output the way I would have preferred for it to display in the first place. I used a workaround and moved forward. Thanks to everyone for their efforts!

Without the ability to segment at the SUB-hit level, this is not possible yet. However, please make sure to visit this page and upvote the idea!https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-ideas/new-sub-hit-segment-container/idi-p/340474

Unfortunately, to do this we need segmentation at the SUB-hit level, which is an idea currently in their pipeline. Please be sure to vote for it here:https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-ideas/new-sub-hit-segment-container/idi-p/340474

Thanks. I was thinking along the lines of passing a value into another Variable based on an out-of-the-box by utilizing Launch as a workaround solution, but the idea to just have classifications on all make things a LOT easier!

Hi @tcrewes1,As far as I know, the answer is no, because the variables are not available to select from the Classification drop-down on the Conversion Classifications screen. My thought is it's because they already have solved for the values they believe should be in those "out-of-the-box" variables and don't want to create any "confusion." You may, however, have a lot more capabilities available to you through Launch, which is beyond my expertise, but well worth investigating.@evolytics_brian, ...

This is definitely a feature we need, especially when you have groups running eComm in a sub-group under a larger organization. For us to be able to see revenue and units for SPECIFIC PRODUCTS within a purchase rather than seeing all units and revenue from the order is an absolute need. We shouldn't have to implement our own success metrics just to hack this data.

So I did take a look at this, and unfortunately, this doesn't work either. It only brings in five total months from the year, and doesn't even put them in Month order. As usual, the documentation is absolutely useless (https://docs.adobe.com/help/en/analytics/components/dimensions/month-of-year.html). It doesn't explain the behavior, how to use it, or what to expect. I really appreciate the suggestion, though. It never hurts to try. 🙂

@yuhuisg,Sure thing! Also, I tried using a Date range for the year before I used the segment and even just put the value of 2019 from the Year dimension in its place, and the behavior was exactly the same in each scenario. Adobe just needs to shore up the functionality of Workspace so the appropriate data displays when you apply a segment. I shouldn't have to use a separate panel just to display the appropriate months.

@evolytics_brian, That's what I ended up doing, which was counter to my goal of putting everything within one panel in order to keep graphs together. Unfortunately, they will have to scroll between them, because putting them side by side is not practical with 12 months displaying under each. It would be helpful if @adobe could fix this one.
