Report Builder dashboard, using Segment Selector. Change of Segment isn't used when request is refreshed - Adobe Analytics 16-02-2017
I have a dashboard that uses a Segment form control that the user can use to select the segment for the requests. Eash of the requests reference the cell location of the form control . When I change the value of the Segment and use VBA, e.g., automationObject.RefreshWorksheetRequests(ActiveWorkbook.Sheets("File Downloads"), the results do not use the segment selected. How do I force my requests to use the value in the Segment drop down form control? Thanks,Kathryn

How do you refresh Segment form control to show newly created segments? - Adobe Analytics 15-02-2017
I have a very powerful dashboard that our users love. They love it so much that more and more folks are asking to use it. The dashboard has a hidden sheet with all the variables my dashboard needs, including a Segment selector, which is a drop down form control. I have created new segments for the new users, but the Segment drop down form control doesn't refresh. I know that I can remove the form control and re-add it, and that will show all current segments. Is there a way to 'force-refresh' th...

Re: Report Builder - how to capture errors when using VBA macros to refresh data - Adobe Analytics 01-02-2017
It occurs to me that this might not be seen by Excel as an error message, which raises the question, can I capture that dialog box in some way?

Report Builder - how to capture errors when using VBA macros to refresh data - Adobe Analytics 01-02-2017
Hello all,I have an Excel 2013 workbook that has two Report Builder requests. Request B (a Page Path report) is dependent on Request A. Request A references data entered by the user. If the user enters bad data (a non-existent URL path) then Request A returns no data and Request B fails with "Pathing patter filter cannot be empty".I am trying to give the user a more friendly error, since I know what most likely caused the error, i.e. the aforementioned bad URL string. I have added error handling...

Rolling weeks Friday - Thursday - Adobe Analytics 20-08-2016
Hi,I have read through the threads on this topic, but none of them fix this issue. I work for a large organization; I cannot change the overall calendar (Sunday through Saturday) for our installation of AA. One of our users wants a rolling week report, but the weeks are not Sunday through Saturday; the client wants Friday through Thursday. I am trying to create a scheduled report with 4 weeks of data. I have tried. using custom date definitions, such as cd - 29d dthrough cd - 2d and the results ...

Re: Cannot get rolling dates to work for other than Sun - Sat dates - Adobe Analytics 29-10-2015
So can I get a definitive answer on this? Can Rolling Weeks be anything other than Sun - Saturday? If they can, how is it done? Here is my example: I select time period of Monday,9/28 through Sunday, 10/18 and choose Weekly Granularity. The first 'week' is Monday,9/28 - Saturday,10/3. The second and third weeks are Sunday through Saturday. The fourth 'week' is Sunday 10/18 - Sunday 10/18. What I want is the each week is Monday - Sunday.I can't believe that this can't be done, but I have tried eve...

Re: Cannot get rolling dates to work for other than Sun - Sat dates - Adobe Analytics 23-10-2015
Hi,Thanks for the reply. I have read through that article, but it seems to indicate that weeks are ALWAYS Sunday through Saturday. Is that the case? If not, I still don't see how to change it to weeks being from Monday through Sunday.Example: I select time period of Monday,9/28 through Sunday, 10/18 and choose Weekly Granularity. The first 'week' is Monday,9/28 - Saturday,10/3. The second and third weeks are Sunday through Saturday. The fourth 'week' is Sunday 10/18 - Sunday 10/18. Best,Kathryn
