  • Hello:I am trying to find code for selecting a specific record within a database on the exit event of a field.  I have watched Paul Guerett's eSeminar on this, and he gives a great example of exactly what I am looking for, but the print is so small I cannot read it.  I have also reviewed Stefan Came...

  • Hey Paul:  Could you email the sample to me on selecting a specific record from an Access database.  Thanks.  TracyTstaab@spokanecity.org

  • Hi y'all! I need to create two legal forms that will always be used together, say "Form A" and "Form B."  If Form A is filled out, Form B will also be filled out.  Much of the information in Form B can come from Form A.  I need some advice on how to create these two forms and bind the information. I...

  • Dang, this forum really works.  As soon as I posted my question, I figured it out. I checked properties of the masterpage itself and somehow it had been changed to visible (screen only).

  • My master page text (footnotes) has suddenly stopped printing, though visible on the screen and set to visible in the object palette.  Just before the problem began, I had added a print button to the master page and set this to visible (screen only).  I have since moved this button off the master pa...

  • Nevermind - I figured it out.  I just put the date variable and date code in the exit event of the dropdown with the other code so now if I make a certain selection from the drop down, it marks the checkbox AND enters the date.  Cool! Thanks so much, you have helped me more than you will ever know.

  • See!  You are brilliant! I am still having an issue however.  I have put this script in the change event of the checkbox b/c there is code that marks the checkbox based on a selection in a droplist.  The goal is:  certain selection in droplist results in checkbox being marked and date being added.  ...

  • This is a simple question from a newbie that I'm sure some of you pros can figure out in your sleep.  Have a form with a checkbox and date/text field next to the checkbox.  If the box is checked, I would like the text field to display today's date in the year 2099, e.g., 06/16/2099.  I put this java...

  • Thank you Mr. Walker.  I was hoping to accomplish this without adding another button.  The script works really well in preprint; when I hit "print" all the irrelevant information disappears.  I was hoping to use a similar script in presubmit, but it doesn't seem to work.

  • I have created a form in Designer that will be filled out and then emailed as a PDF (locked).  The form includes several checkboxes.  I was able to write a script that changed the presence of unchecked objects to "hidden" on the preprint event, but I am unable to accomplish this same task on the pre...
