Re: DTM: How to transfer from one company to another - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Craig,I understand your frustration. Please note that DTM was indeed developed to allow you to not have the developers as involved in the process as before, but not in the way you are hoping. The feature you are looking for is not there intentionally as it is for the security of the site. We do not want any mechanism to be in place that would force the switch of the code without the direct intent of the site owners.

Re: DTM: How to transfer from one company to another - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Craig,You cannot simply move the property. You would need to 1) create a new property in the new company2) make sure you have access to both accounts3) copy the rules from old property to new one.You will still have some setup and configuration to move, but you can copy over most of the items. -Rudi

Re: Effect of "Adobe Analytics page code is already present" option in a page - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Riayz,The "Page code is already present" is behaving as expected. This does not do any sort of code detection to see if you have legacy code, as it is taking your direction in selecting the box. You can add any sort of event based rule that sends a s.tl() call. If you need some sort of detection that will evaluate on every page if there is legacy code and then act accordingly then you can put that in one of the custom code sections.-Rudi

Re: _satellite is not defined - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Can you elaborate on the exact scenario that you have seen that would help us to try and replicate this? -Rudi

Sounds like trouble with how the embed code is placed on the site. Is there a URL you can share so we can see?-Rudi

Re: Page Load Rules Not Firing - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Yes.  And you need to deselect the "Page code present" option as well.

Re: Page Load Rules Not Firing - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Erin Glover wrote... I had the same problem. The bottom line is that until the s_code (or app Measurement) file has been moved into the DTM, page load rules won't work. I would guess that in the Adobe Analytics tool setup, if you have the 'Page code is already present' check box selected. I was told that DTM relies on the existing page level Adobe Analytics implementation for the delivery of the core Adobe Analytics code and the s.t() beacon activation. When the check box is selected, DTM will o...

Re: Page Load Rules Not Firing - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
When you check "Page code is already present" that tells DTM to not do any page load rules or s.t() calls. This approach is for the event based rules as you described.

Re: DTM - How do I access a hidden field within a Page Load Rule - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Ken,Sorry for the delay in response here. I am surprised that _satellite.getVar('CurrencyType') did not get the value for you. I'll send this to the product team to make them aware. -Rudi

Re: DTM Data Layer Basics - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Craig,When you create a Data Element that is pulling in a JS Object like you are attempting do to, you have to provide the name of that object in the "Path" form field. That is where you would reference the JS variable on the page. Also I would not name the Data Element the same thing as the JS object to help make it crystal clear what item you are trying to reference. For more information on Data Elements, please consult the help guide: https://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/dtm/#Data_Ele...
