Hi - thanks for your replyYes the HIDDENSupplierDESC is hidden and needs to remain as such. I am not sure I follow why the presence makes a difference here? It works fine when the form is filled in from scratch, only when an existing populated form is used as the template and altered do I encounter the issue. How does the presence of the hidden table come into play?LiveCycle is weird sometimes! E

Hi AllI have a form that collects user data, as the form is populated manually there are various dynamic tables that can grow / shrink as the user adds / deletes rows. I also have some hidden tables to concatenate text and format it for future processesing. This all works fine as the user builds the form. As per the image below the '+' button on 'Supplier Name' adds a row to the top table and HIDDENSupplierDESC also adds a matching row for each supplier and concatenates some text. So far so good...

Hi BruceThanks for youtr reply, unfortunately I'm struggling to get this to do what I need it to do In the demo you sent - if you select a date in the top date field, then select an impact from the top (Finance) row the date is not copied across to the the date field on the finance row. It does populate if you change around the impacts (seems to work when you 'downgrade' an impact ?) could it be something to do with this line in your code perhaps as it seems to be looking for when the value is l...

Guys this works brilliantly - thanks very much. The last thing I need to do is set the date field at the end of each row to the value of another date field (earlier in the form) only when an impact drop down is populated (minor, Major etc)I thought I could achieve this with the action builder ("When Drop down is changed set row date to earlier date") this works when the user changes the drop down but not when the impact is 'auto populated' - is there another way to achieve this? Many many thanks f...

Hi!I've just spotted something - the values on the xml are a mixture of the bound value and the text. I think it is when the row is auto populated (action 2 above) it is populating with the name (undesired) rather than the bound value - see image below of the xml generated. Eg the FinanceImpact row I selected 'Minor' from the first dropdown and this has correctly mapped the bound value '1' - the remainder of the row was auto populated and has not mapped the bound value:I have tried adding 'bound...

Hi Bruce - this is amazing - thank you! I have just a couple of questions - what is the button for on the form? Is it required? Is it possible to change the way the drop downs fill with color so the color sits within the dropdown and not the entire background as per below? Many, many thanks Bruce - much appreciated

Hi All - would appreciate some advice please...I have a (static) table in my form as per image below:Each drop down is the same, the user can choose "Minor", "Moderate", "Significant", "Major" or "Intolerable". When they make the selection I need several things to happen:The background color of the cell needs to change "Minor" = green, "Moderate" = amber, "Significant"= amber, "Major"= red or "Intolerable"=red. The selection should auto populate everything to the right with the same value as sele...

Yes it's a regular drop down for the user to pick the severity of an issue, this is then bound to a value that is passed to the XMLEg User selects 'Major" the box turns red and the bound value '3' is passed to xml.Is that what you mean? Can that cause problems?ThxE

Hi MagusSoo... I've managed to use your code for 3 sections of my (rather complicated!) form - FANTASTIC THANKYOU! however I have one other type of 'expanding section', and I am unable to get it to work for.The problem is one of hierarchy I believe as my 'repeatable section' includes an 'Add Details' hidden section that needs to repeat for every row. I think this may be screwing up the referencing for the code you have kindly supplied and I can't figure out the correct referencing (I've tried ev...

Just to addI've systematically removed each section of the form, testing to see if this distribution error is related to a particular element. However I have got all the way back to just the master page (which you are unable to delete) no content at all and I still get the error?Could this be a target version thing?Really clutching at straws tbhUnless anyone can advise my only optio will be to rebuild the form using the objects in the broken form and see if that works? Thanks in anticipation! HiIve been building a form over the last few weeks in LiveCycle ES2. It's nothing too complicated (text / date entry , drop downs, repeating row tables etc) - there is no validation set at all at the moment or any kind of signature. My issue is that I am recieving an error message when I attempt to distribute the form:"acrobat is unable to distribute this form" - that's it. No other information to help find the cause of the problem I am using Acobat X version 10.1.4Has anyone seen this before? Ca...
