Re: Process completed when route choices failed. Shouldn't the process have stalled? - Adobe LiveCycle 04-08-2011
If there are no routes to continue the process, the process will be marked completed. There are no errors or exceptions to place the process in stalled state. You would have to find a way to restart the completed processes and continue from the desired step. One approach would be to create another process that filters, if you don't know already, completed processes for your special condition and, after you updated the main process to allow an intermediate starting point, restart the necessary co...

TaskManager claimTask() - synchronous or asynchronous??? - Adobe LiveCycle 23-02-2011
We have an issue using the TaskManager API. When the user claims the task, and then tries to complete it, intermitently it may get an error message saying that the task is not active... We suspect that the claimTask call is not completed when the user tries to complete the task, cause if the user tries again, everything works fine... Does anyone know if the claimTask call is asynchronous or synchronous? At least we may prevent the user from completing the task until the task is claimed, if we wo...

I have an awkward issue when updating an application lca in LiveCycle. Although everything is currently cleaned up, so no instances of the previous application version are running when the new lca is imported, i get an exception in the logs, java.io.OptionalDataException, and all assigned tasks are stalled. What is even stranger, is if I turn on recording on the process containing the AssignTask and start another instance of the process, everything works correctly, no stalled actions...Has anybo...

Inconsistent response from TaskManager getTasks() - Adobe LiveCycle 20-10-2010
Hello, Has anybody experienced a consistency issue with the return of a TasmManager API call, specifically the taskList() method. We have two identical LCES environments for Dev and Test, version 9.0.0.0, and we are using the same ear file for testing in both com.adobe.idp.taskmanager.dsc.client.TaskManagerQueryService.taskList() In dev it return an empty list. In test environment it returns null. Here is the javadoc for this method Thanks taskList() public List taskList(TaskFilter filter)Retrie...
