Re: Send mail task - Adobe LiveCycle 26-03-2010
The error message from the SendMail service indicates that you are trying to connect to an email server on the same box as your LiveCycle server...hence the error against localhost.SMTP uses port 25 by default.Do you have your email server with SMTP set up on your LiveCycle server?Diana

The Process Management (system) application contains all the Render and Submit services (as well as other necessary processes for Process Management). If you undeploy this app, you will be unable to render or submit anything in Workspace.Diana

Re: Process card images - How to? - Adobe LiveCycle 11-03-2010
Hi NithThe Icon is set at the process level. This means that if you have several workspace startpoints in the same process, they would all have the same icon.Diana

When a Task Assignment occurs, are you seeing any exceptions in the log?It will tell you if it cannot connect or if your username and password are incorrect.Diana

Re: Custom task notification emails per process - Adobe LiveCycle 03-03-2010
HiAre you aware that you can create a custom email template on the Assign Task and Assign Multiple Tasks services? On the process properties for these services, make sure the "All" button is selected (top-right) and you will see a tab called Custom Email templates.By choosing the Customize radio button, you can set task level email templates for Task Assignments, Reminders and Deadlines. These will override the server templates for the tasks where they are turned on.Otherwise, the user receives th...

Re: Extract subject from email - Adobe LiveCycle 02-03-2010
Hi FabioThis is a bug which is being addressed in Service Pack1.As Jasmin said you can work around this issue by changing literal to variable. However, for now you need to do this in the adminui not Workbench.Go to: Services->Applications and Services->Service Management.Find your application, select it and you should see the Endpoints panel.Select the Email Endpoint.Down at the bottom under Input Parameter Mappings change the dropdown to Variable from Literal and save the endpoint.Diana

Re: Process that allows task completion in email example? - Adobe LiveCycle 25-02-2010
Hi MikeWhen you design your form, you need to include the Process Fields to handle this case.Open your form in Designer and from the Custom Object Library, drag on the set of fields called "Process Fields".This will give you an Action dropdown, a Submit button and some hidden fields. When the user receives the pdf attached to the email, this Action dropdown will contain your choices from the routes leaving the Assign Task. The user chooses one of these actions and then clicks Submit. This value wil...

Re: Process that allows task completion in email example? - Adobe LiveCycle 24-02-2010
Hi PraveenJust a bit confused...this thread is about completing tasks offline. is that what you are trying to do or are or you starting them via email?Just to clarify...adding an email endpoint on the Complete Task is only required if you want to "continue" workspace processes. For example, a notification is sent to a user with the form and data attached. Now you want to send it back via email instead of looging into Workspace to complete it.If you are "starting" a process via email, you use an e...

Re: Process that allows task completion in email example? - Adobe LiveCycle 22-02-2010
Hi MikeIn addition to what Jasmin has pointed out, you need to add an email endpoint on the Complete Task process. This allows users to click a Submit button on the form they received as a Task Notification attachment. The form and data are then emailed back to the LiveCycle server via the mailbox that you set up on the Complete Task endpoint. The Help for that endpoint is here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/livecycle/8.2/admin_aac/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?&accessible=trueMake sure that on you...

Re: E-mail startpoint preserving emails on server - Adobe LiveCycle 18-02-2010
Hi FabioThere is no way to preserve the email in the Inbox once the server has started a process. The server polls this box to determine what work it needs to do.Once the request to start a process has occurred, the email is deleted so that no duplicate processes are started.Diana
