HiThe issue referred to in your link was actually resolved in SP1 for 9.0.Since you are using SP2, you should not be required to change anything in adminui.Did you mark your variable as "input"?If you do this, then you should see and Inputs/Outputs tab on the email startpoint.If you then add %SUBJECT% in your Input data filter, this should not require you to do anything else.Once deployed, if you then look in the adminui, this input should appear as Variable not literal.Diana

Hi SunilYou don't need to send an attachment into the server in order to start the process...just the email will do.The attachment would just have any data you wanted to start the process with but is not required for your test.I cannot reproduce your issue.My guess is that it doesn't know the user who is sending to the server.My suggestion would be to add that user to the Security tab of the service.So in adminui, Service->Applications and Services->Service Management, select your process.On the...

Hi SunilBased on the error, I would say that the LC server doesn't recognize the user who is sending the email to it.Can you provide a bit more information?1) I assume you are starting a process via email? If so what are you sending in to the server... a PDF or XDP data?2) You mention you are sending in to an SMTP server...I assume you mean a POP3 server? (LiveCycle only supports POP3 for receiving of emails from a user.)Diana
