Re: Filter by referrer url via segments - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Was the segment construction around a visit container or a hit container? If it was around a visit construction that will pull in all referrers at any time over the course of the visit for those visits at one point associated with "techcrunch.com/2015/02/25/airpr-sells-its-pr-marketplace". Since the referrer persists for the entire visit unless overwritten therefore you will potentially pull in other referrers.Best,Brian

Re: How to View Middle Channel (First Touch -> Middle Touches -> Last Touch) Interactions in Adobe Analytics - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
The CrossVisitParticipation is one option that does allow multiple touch views, but it is important to keep in mind the campaign report results will vary quite a bit compared to the Marketing Channel reports. If your organization is after 'one unified version of the truth' for campaign reporting it can be tricky handling two campaign reporting systems that logically won't be in alignment. The most sophisticated marketing channel attribution analysis can be down in Adobe Analytics Premium - now D...

Re: How Adobe track paid traffic? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
It should be set up with a ? and =, the Adobe reference point simply means it will be omitted from the end value in reporting. Re: How Adobe track paid traffic? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Adobe Analytics detects paid from natural search via search detection configuration parameters. If the configuration is not done and/or there are no means to distinguish then Adobe Analytics by default will not differentiate. Reference link information below:https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/paid_search_detection.htmlPaid Search DetectionPaid Search Detection differentiates paid from natural searches in the Search Engines and Search Keywords reports. Re: Context Variables and Processing Rules. - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Toby,Please see my responses in line:Are there any limitations to the number of Context Data Variables that are allowed per report suite? There are no limits on context data variables and you are only limited by the Admin console variable mapped allocations. Are there any limitations to the number processing rules per report suite? - If we are using these to populate our props, eVars and successes the numbers could get pretty high. You are limited to 100 rules (expanded from 50 rules in February...

Re: 0 pageviews Visit 1 - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
It is difficult to answer for certain without further information on the specific DW report request, but custom link calls can increment a visit without page views.Reference Link:http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalmarketing/web-analytics/custom-link-tracking-capturing-user-actions/Custom Link Tracking does not count a page view.I already mentioned this, but it warrants mentioning again here. This means that you will not see any data in your Pages report due to Link Tracking data. Your report suite pa...

Re: Adding report suites to an existing Classification Rule Builder Rule Set - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Paulo,The message is correct in that by adding report suites you are adjusting the rule so it turns the rule off until your adjustments are settled in the configuration menu. However once your have finished your report suite additions you can quickly turn back on the rule again and have it run just like was, but with the expanded report suite coverage.Best,Brian

Re: How to ignore a custom link server call from Bounce Rate calculation like Google Analytics does? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Aiyanna,You can potentially leverage the 'Single Access Metric' which does not account for custom link calls to calculate bounces. Extensive details on the differences between different bounce measures is linked below:https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/kb/en_US/analytics/kb/comparing-bounces-and-single-access.html>>>This article provides a comparison between bounces, single access, and single page visits, although their names and perceived definitions may appear similar, their actual ...
